Honestly it wasn’t the best massage I’ve ever had, but for $ 25 it was ok. The student was going to start without any music on, which I thought was odd. She apologized and said it was her first time after I asked her, so I guess she did a fairly well job for it being her first day.

Leon Gosset therapeutic massage therapist is the one to see here for an hour massage. My fourth sports massage that has really done wonders on my runner’s knee pain. I thought I was stuck with pain killers and steroid shots but his methods are incredible. Must see him for any joint/arthritis pain.

I will NEVER book with this place again. I’d called several weeks in a row trying to book a couples massage. One time, the staff person that answered the phone tells me that she should be able to get me in, but to call back the next day. I called back and no one could remember having talked to me. This happened twice. The second time I asked the person to write my name down. Didn’t seem to help because when I called back they acted like I was the crazy one. After a couple more failed attempts to schedule an appointment, I finally booked a massage… and they called me late the night before and cancelled it. Now it’s too late to reschedule with another establishment. I wish they’d told me earlier. When I told the staff person on the phone that I was frustrated, he said, «Ya, well I make phone calls like this all day», and hung up on me. WOW. If you’re looking for frustration rather than relaxation this is the place for you!

The location leaves something to be desired– a run-down strip mall. The staff is friendly, though, and I can say I enjoyed the massage. The rooms are decorated in god-awful themed fashion(I was in some kind of mountain/woodsy-themed room) but they do a solid job. A fancy spa it’s not, but if you’re after a thorough massage you’ll get it here.

I’ve been here a couple of times with Living Social deals, and while there are some reservations I have about this place, overall I like going here. On the outside you wouldn’t think it’s a massage place because it’s in a ghetto shopping center. The inside is no state of the art spa either. You can tell they made the effort to decorate with themed rooms but it doesn’t really come together with leak stains on the ceiling and Spanish music playing in my Oriental room. The employees are nice but they don’t talk in sweet soft voices and you don’t necessarily get that«oohhh ahhh I’m being treated like a princess» feel. However, they give a darn good massage which is what you come for in the first place. Two different people have given me massages and on both occasions I felt totally refreshed afterward. The second person who worked on me did a good job of asking how much pressure I needed and asking periodically if it was ok. It’s also super easy to get an appointment, sometimes even day of, unlike other San Antonio massage places I’ve tried and given up on.
