Uncle Bob’s Self Storage

I never thought I’d write a review on a storage facility, much less rate it 5 Stars but Alice Gilbreath, the Manager of this location is wonderful. She was very accommodating, friendly and always went the extra mile to make our experience better than expected, moving isn’t fun! The facility is very clean, organized and well run. Don’t miss meeting Alice, she represents herself and her company extremely well.

I guess I used to think all storage units were the same: places where you store your stuff in between moves, etc. But the level of service I have received at this specific Uncle Bob’s has me so pleased that I had to break my Unilocal hiatus to write a review.
Not only did I receive an awesome «you-​call-​it» monthly rent special («Half off?,» they said. «No problem!»), but both Alice and Jeff, the property managers, are professional, warm, and accommodating. Specifically, they acquiesced to my request to house U-​Haul U-​boxes (like the moving/​storage Pods) on the property while movers transferred my belongings from my storage unit to the u-​boxes to be shipped. Furthermore, when I realized that I lost the keys to my storage unit, Alice agreed to break the lock when I asked her to, even though there was only one person on-​site, and they usually require two. Both of these acts of service were delivered professionally and with smiles. And though Alice was drenched with sweat from being in the 100+ degree heat for 20 minutes while breaking my lock, she even wished me best of luck in my new area of residence. Seriously, that was awesome.
So maybe this review is more about the employees of Bob’s than the actual storage space (though what can one really say about that?), but I’m very pleased with every interaction I’ve had here, and wouldn’t hesitate to store my belongings here again if needed.
