Great La Villita arts gallery!
The Wades are a talented family of artists. Monte Wade’s work is always great– Texas themed, creative and full of talent. His son, Curtis Wade does some fantastic stuff as well. He does a lot of landscapes of Texas, or scenes around San Antonio. There’s always a lot of other local artists that they’re featuring around there. They’ll also ship to any address in the US if you can’t lug that giant metal chicken on the plane ride home in your carry-​on bag.
The gallery in La Vallita is always kept nice and cool, so if you’re in La Vallita in the summer, it’s a great place to get out of the sun and check out the local culture.
