Wendy’s

This Wendy’s is always fast. I love to come here when I’m not too hungry and want something quick. I usually order the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, the value fries and a value drink. Great little meal for a tiny bit over $ 4. The bun on my burger is fluffy and fresh, my fries are tasty and my drink was the perfect size. You know how some places give you huge drinks and you don’t even finish it?
I will admit, sometimes the customer service is lacking, but today everyone was friendly and courteous! Two thumbs up!

We got here right before big lunch crowd. Spicy chicken sandwich was great and fries were nice and hot. Kids loved their kids meals because of the How to Train a Dragon toys with the meal. Kids got nuggets and burger. This place is very busy Monday thru Friday at lunch.

Seems they dont quiet understand orders. Wanted coke, person thought I said milk three time, and got root beer,

My experience this past weekend was great. I went around 2PM on Saturday and walked straight up to the counter. The girl working the register was very nice and seemed to enjoy her job. The dining room was clean and as I was eating the same girl whom was previously working the register was wiping down tables that I felt were already clean. Still it was nice to see that kind of extra attention being given. Several couples, of different ages, were also eating in the dining room. That to me says the place can’t be too bad.
My food was hot and fresh. The nuggets are crispy on the outside and firm on the inside. Fries are hot, not too salty and crisp. I normally go to Chik-​fil-​a around the corner and will say the «quality» of food I feel is better, but this particular Wendy’s is one of the better ones I’ve been to in the city.

The food at this location is on par with any other Wendy’s. The only reason I give them 2 stars rather than 3 (it takes a lot for me to give any fast food place more than 3 stars) is because of the service. They are always, ALWAYS slow here. Seriously, I’ve gone when there were only 3 people ahead of me in line and it still took 10 – 15 minutes to get my order out. They are frequently under staffed and clearly stressed out. I can’t count how many times I have heard employees angrily yell at one another. The main reason I still come here is because it is within walking distance of my office and sometimes I need more variety from the other places I can walk to.

Food was bleh and tasteless, not even up to junk food standards. What has happened to Wendy’s?
Had a chicken ceasar wrap and a crispy chicken sandwich. Both failed to deliver any flavor worth remembering.

Chocolate frosty saved my evening after a dismal steak dinner. You can always count on the frosty to come through and cheer you up.

This Wendy’s is really close to my work so I occasionally visit (not often — I always usually pick Chickfila over Wendys) but everytime I’ve gone, I am always treated nicely by the drive thru people. I go by in the mornings moreso the afternoon so that is probably why. I have only been in once and that was so long ago that I can’t even remember how the experience was. It seems to be nicely taken care of and I’ve passed during lunch hours and the drive thru is packed and so is the dining area — so they must be doing something right! :)

BEWARE OF THE DRIVE THROUGH WINDOW #2!!!
First off – The food here is great! It’s one of the best Wendy’s in San Antonio for consistently great food!
The only problem is that you have to deal with rude cashiers & management to get the food. :(
Every time I eat here, I prepare my self for the rude and ugly experience. The people working inside the restaurant are rude and unfriendly. The woman at the 2^nd drive through window is even more rude, but the person that takes the orders and is stationed at window #1 is calm and friendly. So, I have started to only eat food from the drive through at this location.
So if you are ok with rude people, but want some good/​cheap food – eat here. It’s cheap and yummy!
