dinner food: whatachicken sandwich. i dont know what the fuss is all about, but i guess thats how people react to their local fast food chain. maybe i ordered the wrong thing? i very much prefer the other chain known for fried chicken sandwiches. ***2/5 service: typical fast food place. they come out and serve you dipping sauce, which was a first to me. the cashier came out to me with a selection of sauces like some fancy wine. ***4/5 value: expensive for fast food. not worth it for what i ate. ***2/5

Several locals said they LOVEDIT! Those familiar with In-n-out said it was much better. NOWAYONEARTHTHISBURGERCOMPARESTOIN-N-OUT! In-n-out is FARSUPERIOR to Whataburger. Their burgers are bigger but their taste can’t compare whatsoever! Plus they forgot the cheese on my double cheeseburger. The patties just didn’t have a fresh cooked taste. More of a «been a heating unit» taste. Their burgers fall into the«McDonalds, Burger King, Jack-in-the-box» category.

DON’T COMETOTHISLOCATION! I was in the area and decided to give this location a 3rd chance. Needless to say it was the same bad service as I got the two times before. I walked in and was not greeted at all by anyone. I waited two minutes before someone helped me. The cashier Alexis A. was easily distracted by what was going on with things around her. As I was waiting for my food, I noticed that 2 people that order five minutes after me get there food first. When I go up to the manager to ask her how long will it be before I get my order, she asks what I ordered and I was telling her she walks away to the fry station. I had to raise my voice so she could hear what I order. She then finds my order through the pile of orders. She hands me my order and doesn’t even apologize for the wait. When I eat my burger it is warm to cold, which I am guessing it got that way since it was sitting on the counter for so long. I only work 2 minutes away so it wouldn’t get that warm that quickly. Going to stick to the Whataburger I usually go to which is 10 minutes for better service and quality of food.

Aw mann, gotta be one of the premier fast food joints. Always open, always clean, always«fresh»… And the always go on. The employees are nice and quick, and most importantly the food is delicious. Best cinnamon rolls around, jalapeño cheddar biscuit, thick n hearty, and of course the honey bbq chicken strip sandwich. There fries and something serious too

Yes, this is your average burger/fry place but we went late at night and it was magical. There were lights strung overhead that created such a beautiful atmosphere. The burgers were above average and so were the fries. Yes, you had to wait a bit to get your food but in my opinion, it was well worth the wait. I don’t think I’d wait two(plus) hours to eat in a building. Go out of your way to this location. It’s worth it.

the employees and the food here is always good. some days, a bigger parking lot would be so helpful, but its the price to pay for being such a great place.

My first time at a Whataburger. Ordered the Monterey Melt hamburger with onion rings. Paid, took a number, and sat down. Interesting concept — they bring you out your food and then give you napkins and your choice of ketchup. Onion rings were good, spicy ketchup good, but I opened up the Monterey Melt and it was piping hot, like fresh off the grill hot. Surprised a bit because I guess I’m used to something sitting under a heat lamp. So big plus for making your food to order. I was expecting something along the lines of a Jack in the Crack burger, but I did about twenty double-takes as I couldn’t believe how good the Monterey Melt tasted. Seriously, it was restaurant quality, way better than any fast food burger I’ve had.

One job working the drive thru — listen to my order and push the button. She talked over top of us while we ordered, so we repeated three times. When we reached the window to pay, we inquired about our order. We repeated AGAIN, then AGAIN, to which you nodded yes. Yes, you heard and ordered it? Sigh. THEN, she removes her headset and asks WHAT? Sigh. Smdh. I actually stopped to make sure we had two of everything before pulling away. Are there avocados and peppers? Stay tuned…

We waited 29 minutes for our order. The burgers were real patties and tasted great, but the chicken fingers were gross.

Everything you could ever want in a Whataburger. Friendly people, excellent customer service, consistent and delicious food, and an awesome double drive-through lane for the most effective and efficient service possible. As a regular at this location and frequent visitor of other locations this is by far the best. 10⁄10

After a different whataburger was all rude and unfriendly I went to this one here and I must say the cashier John made my day. Very friendly and uplifting. The other store needs people like him. I hope he becomes shift supervisor in the store on blanco as the one there just sucks. Thank you John for making my day, or better my night at one am.

I’m gonna review this place just because I was just in WOWZA mode. I just had my very first burger here and doggone it was good! I always got the chicken strips haha. This location is clean, friendly staff and quite quick. Nice to swing into a «fast“food restaurant that is actually fast for a change. Always stop in here after the bar as it’s 24⁄7

A few days prior to moving to Texas, I was making idle conversation with a friend who was living in Dallas during which the generic«what’s good to eat in TX?» came up. The aforementioned friend thought for a while and then told me «Whataburger.» As I had passed many a Whataburgers on my glorious entrance into TX from OK and gathered it must be some sort of fast food chain, I decided that my friend was pulling my leg and decided to steer clear from any further advice from the friend and Whataburger until I was given a reason to do otherwise. Well, that reason came in the form of walking into Chris Madrid’s at 8.30pm on a Saturday evening after watching the latest Harry Potter debaucle, deciding that no burger in the world – no less a tostada burger – is worth the 1+ hr long line at 8.30pm and driving around until we found something that we can just grab and go. For a fast food joint, Whataburger makes a really solid sandwich. I elected to get their signature Whataburger with grilled onions, no mayo/mustard + grilled jalapenos and I couldn’t believe that the end product was from a fast food joint; what really set this place apart from other burger joints for me was the awesome buns, the crunchy lettuce and the grilled onions. I do realize that writing an even semi-elaborate review for a fast food restaurant is rather silly, but I decided it’d be a creative way to churn out an apology for ever doubting my friend’s advice =)
