homeless, they are sitting in front of the store begging, there are usually people walking around stealing and eating the security rarely patrol the store, the food is rotting and expired i checked the milk and it was 2 days expired, canned/sealed food you have to check i see some soups/chips that are 2 – 3 months past expiration, also they don’t price a lot of their food no price signs just stacking food next to each other and some of them have different prices when you find out at cash register, and the food they do price, the stock people are too lazy to take down sale signs and just stuff new food there twice now i have gone up to the register and they tell me price is different then signs oh its whats on the register and do i want the manager i tell them no i dont want it anymore just take it off and 3 days later i came back once and the wrong price sign was still there, dont get me wrong some stuff is a good deal some is not, example 3 burritos are 1 dollar same price as food4less down the street(no one knows since this is one of the item where price is not listed!), personal pizzas are 80 cents at food4less and 1 dollar at 99 cent, tv dinners are exactly the same price at 79 cents each, but a giant can of pickles is 1 dollar and its 6 dollars at food4less, you have to look for saving. I also agree with other people on waiting sometimes there is only 1 cashier for 10 – 20 people, that being said the black female manager has great customer service and will try to open up a register herself and get customers out.

This store is a disgrace. someone from the Corporate office needs to send in a secret shopper or just do a random visit. They refuse to open up registers when there are plenty of other associates on the floor. This has been the 5th time I have come to this store and had to wait with 20 or more other people in line and only ONE register open. And EVERYTIME the question is asked about someone else opening a register the response is always«I am the only one here.» I refuse to believe that there is not a manager, supervisor or anyone else stocking aisle that can open up another register. And to add to the unprofessionalism(today register 1 was open and the line snaked around to register 5) another associate was focused on cleaning the restroom rather than helping at the register and the cashier had the nerve to be extremely ghetto and rude to the other associate about the cleaning issue. Now, it was irritating enough that the cashier did not call for help, but to have a very inappropriate conversation with another associate in front of customers who are already irritated with the horrible service is just to much. When this store first opened the y were on it, all registers were in use, supervisors/managers were on the cashiers about calling for additional assistance when needed. I do not know what happen with the original staffing that opened to the store, but the store is going down hill fast. This store is already located in a not so good part of San Bernardino, you still get plenty of business because of the location, yet you offer the worse customer service. At no time should an employee of any establishment, say«I don’t know», «I just transferred here», «I cannot help you.» Just a disgrace. Have been to plenty of 99 Cent only stores who basically all run the same way in assisting their customers, not sure why this location does not feel as though it is a priority. I really hope someone looks into the way this establishment is being run and makes some serious changes soon.
