Dave and his team were helpful, courteous and accommodating. I had a post-​eBay purchase, road-​worthiness inspection of a 03 Volvo S80, and they were thorough and complete. Hit the road for 800 uneventful miles immediately thereafter.

I had my 2002Jeep Wrangler towed here because it would not start and the reviews were mostly favorable. I was also motivated by their AAA discount and their 24 month or 24,000 mile warranty on all their work.
David, the service advisor, asked good questions about the Jeep when I dropped it off and gave me frequent progress reports by phone. The problem was a short in the wiring harness due to vibration. They even texted me a picture of it at my request! The service techs did a very comprehensive and detailed check of the A/​C, brakes, lights, transmission, etc. and recommended additional repairs while it was in the shop. Tell me who measures the moisture content of your brake fluid these days?
Although I didn’t follow through with all the recommended repair work, for financial reasons, the Jeep runs better now than it has in years. When I have the cash, I’ll go back to these guys again. I believe they really know what to do and charge fair prices for their above average work. I am a very satisfied customer!

I took my truck here recently and Dan (the owner) was very upfront and honest. Every time I called for a status update David, who works the front counter, would help me out. They gave me a ride to work and even picked me up when it was done. The prices were reasonable and the work was done well. My truck runs smooth! Dan and his guys worked very hard to earn my trust. Thank you guys!

My daughter’s 2001 Accord needed a transmission rebuild. I did my homework and shopped around. Dan and the folks at A&B listened to what I described, they did a thorough diagnosis and completed the work professionally and gave me updates almost daily. They discovered a problem with the timing belt replacement that was done several days before. They fixed the discrepancies and documented them so I was able to go back to the mechanic and get my money back.
The car now drives like new and their work is covered by a 3yr/​36 000 mile warranty. They have definitely have earned my future business and I strongly recommend A&B Transmission.

My brand new Cadillac grew old, with a overheating problem that no dealer could solve. I let it sit in the garage and and eventually could not trust it. I made the decision to resolve the issue. I found this place by an internet search thought I would call. The service writer was too good to be true. My husband was going to be the tough sale because no way was he going to a random trans shop I found on the internet. I put him on the phone and low and behold I took it in, my neck was on the line. They were 1^st class! I was comfortable leaving them with my car, the place was secure and it was obvious ownership was hands on. They found and fixed the problem! It was just over $ 400 and it runs like it should have from the beginning of time I trust their judgment and highly recommend.

We went through this business because it was AAA recommended /​backed.
We won’t be going back either. These guys got a HUGE amount of money out of repairs made to our car, We’re talking outlandish prices here. The customer service was ok at best but they focused more on the credit card information than listening to us.
They have weird shop hours. Our car was kept overnight more times when it shouldn’t have been needed. They act like they are doing you a favor when in reality you’re the one giving them business.
They broke the parking brake pedal. They said they’d fix it but the parts were ‘elusive’ and we wound up just forgetting about it because it was always– we’ll get to it, or leave the car here … $$$$
We will not recommend this business. IT IS WAY WAY WAY WAY overpriced.

Dan and his crew did a great job of rescuing me when my Eurovan transmission needed rebuilding. I was traveling and scheduled to meet friends in Yosemite. They worked miracles and rebuilt the transmission in 2−½ days so I was able to get to Yosemite on time. They are exceedingly professional, personable, and trustworthy. They took a personal interest in making sure the rest of the car was ready to make the trip (charging the house battery, replacing wiper blades, erc.) and giving me great driving tips while I was on the road. I highly recommend them.
