I can’t find any other place to post this review of Amazon Prime service. I specifically have a problem with an exchange item. I ordered an item using my Amazon Prime account. When it arrived it was too big, so I wanted to exchange it for a smaller size. The company would only allow me to return it for refund and repurchase. The item was bought at a discounted price at and fulfilled by Amazon. It had been less than a week since I placed the order. The price had risen by more than $ 150(regular, non-sale price). Amazon had stock available in many different sizes including the one I needed. I called the customer service center and was told that nothing could be done. If I had purchased this in a brick and mortar store there would be no problem with exchanging it(in fact, most stores prefer that to refund). I don’t want my money back — I want the item I purchased in a size that fits. I had plans for wearing this on a special occasion, and I bought accessories that can’t be returned. I’m very disappointed. I love shopping Amazon, but this is just bad customer relations.

Amazon in San Bernardino is really efficient and quick when it comes to delivery. I always look for the ont5 at the bottom of the sticker. Plus my cousin works there so I know the job will get done right.

I also pre-ordered Straight outta Compton DVD and of course, never received it. I kept getting updates saying it would be delivered by 8PM. Of course it wasn’t! Contacted Amazon and wah wah wah. all I got was apologies but this has happened before the last DVD I pre ordered I never received on the day of release. Whats the point? Last time I do this, I will just go to Best Buy and buy it there on the day of and have it for that night!

I ordered a TV from Amazon on 12÷28÷15. As it was a Prime item, and I ordered after business hours on a Monday, I expected delivery on Thursday 12⁄31. Per Amazon customer service, the fulfillment center screwed up and I won’t get my TV until Monday ¼/16. Not acceptable! Get it together fulfillment, you’re only 90 minutes away from me.

Who wouldn’t want to spend a day in an Amazon Fulfillment Center? My colligates and I had a rare opportunity to take a sneak peak inside to one of the biggest on-line retail giant. The warehouses consist of at least million square feet, stretching its facility from many miles away. Being inside the facility is like visiting Santa’s toyshop, but in a more anti slavery way. We where greeted by several friendly representatives and was quickly given an orientation about the safety procedures, making sure that we wont sue them just in case we lost an arm or a leg. HHaaaahHHAA… seriously!!! The fulfillment center is connected together stretching for as long as 20-football field. Unfortunately we where only allowed to take a tour around one section of the warehouse. So all the high tech equipment’s, development facility are off limits to the public eyes. The security level here is pretty intense. Worker and non-workers can be easily distinguished. So I wouldnt try coming here unsupervised. But on the lighter note, we where able to see the full mechanics of sorting and distribution of several packages, that is being shipped out every day of the year. Conveyer belt covers half of the facility, running continuously all over the place. Inside consist of two floors; the first floor is set up just like a standard shelving space. Here«pickers»(employees that pick the products from shelves) come and select the items you ordered form Amazon, then they put it in the box that’s attached into a conveyer belt. Then the conveyer belt sends it to a packaging station And ships them out to the consumers. There a still whole new mechanics, but those pretty much the gist of everything. The tour was wonderful, all the staff has been really friendly, if you ask them any questions, they are more than happy to enlighten you. Bathrooms are clean and you get to leave with a tiny goody bag. This experience definitely bettered my understanding about online shopping. Now, I am no longer intimidated purchasing some of my items through Amazon. The service, quality and professionalism that they provide have definitely made me more of a fan of their company.
