Having spent more time in this library than actual classes, I feel I can adequately rate this place as a 3-star library. The librarians at the help desk are friendly and spend time to help students find something that will meet their needs. While this is ideal, it also means long waiting times. The lower level has new carpet and a small eating section. It’s nice to smell coffee as you enter the front door. Unlike other college library I have visited, this one lacks an abundance of study rooms. This makes finding a room that is suitable for a study group near impossible. The political books are outdated. They could use a refresher with modern titles. Anything from the last three Presidents would be nice. Fortunately, the Inter-loan library on the first floor can help you get a book from another library. I still like holding a physical copy of a book. I know libraries are slowly disappearing in favor of e-books that allow you to have thousands of books at your finger tips. I believe having physical books add to the experience of reading. You can’t replace the smell of a book digitally. If you’re a student or a local resident, walk-in and have a look around. It never hurts to learn a little more.

Staff is normally friendly. Book selection is limited on current political issues, poor international affairs selection. The solution is to order books through ILL. Wish they would take student money and update the interior and furniture.
