I’ve never been to philly so I can’t make the comparison but I’ll be damned if this place doesn’t have some excellent Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. As stated the outside isn’t much to look at the location is even worse but worth going in. I guess this places bread and butter is donuts which I’ve never tried, if the donuts are somewhat decent I’ll bump this place up to four stars. The cherry on top, if your into that sort of thing is, they also sell blunt wrappers. What more can you ask for.

SICKASSPHILLYCHEESESTEAK! i would rob the store just for that, seriously. This place is no ordinary donut shop. They make food of the gods. Friendly guy named Steven blew my mind when he recommended me to try their philly cheese steak.

This place is definitely a hole-in-the-wall gem. They have cheap food and it’s actually GOOD. Sure it looks janky as hell and you’ll see cops arresting people right in front of the shop or even better. hookers walking around Howards and the liquor store next to it. Yea, that’s right. Hookers. but this place definitely knows how to serve up some food. I always get the philly cheesesteak and they do not hold back on the meat. Donuts are always fresh and service is friendly as hell. Regulars and newbies of the store always call the owner«MA» because she definitely always takes care of ya. All the best food joints are always hole-in-the-wall/sketchy/janky looking stores so don’t be afraid to come here and check out the food.

Like this place may share parking lot wit a liquor store. but i have been coming here in the past 5 years. Is the best place in town to get donuts and breakfast up to a meal at a descent price. The owner make you feel in family they are so friendly couldn’t ask formore.

More likely than not, you are probably going to drive right by this place and never give it a second thought, like I don’t. I guess my question to is you is why in the hell are in this part of town anyways? I work here, that’s my excuse! It’s run down and borderline dangerous, especially at night. At first glance, it would generously be called a hole-in-the-wall, since it shares a parking lot with a dive liquor store that caters to people of seemingly questionable character, consummating deals of questionable legality. I had heard from a friend here at work that it had some pretty good food, despite the fact that it’s primarily a donut shop, so I thought I would give it a try, plus I wasn’t all that hungry to begin with, so I had nothing to lose, least of all my lunch. Despite the exterior, the place is pretty clean inside, and they do have an «A» rating from the Health Department, which is always a good sign. Today, I opted for the hamburger special which was a special touted on the store’s window. The burger itself was fair, as were the french fries. They had some other meals that I didn’t bother to commit to memory, but everything was in the $ 5 range. However, the people running the place could not have been nicer, and another customer I spoke to while waiting for my food couldn’t have been a more loyal fan. This place is probably closer to a 2-star place on its best day, but the friendliness of the staff boosted it an extra star. And hell, even one of these days, I’ll actually get donuts from this place!
