Gross. Shady security and 12 year old girls EVERYWHERE. Overall: Scary. Although I have seen some awesome shows here it was because of the DJ’s…not the venue.

Hudston theatre was something of a feat Soon as I stepped in, I was on the Gotham streets Metal fixtures and raised platforms to dance Felt like dubsteppin’ at burning man The main room though felt like a banquet hall Felt like prom from ’03 fall Carpet to cover most of the floor? I ended up dancing up near the door Couldn’t believe there was a place like this A rave hall in a strip mall, can this exist? Thought that the Gotham portion was pretty damn sick But wouldn’t come back cause too many kids Can’t blame the venue though for party that is thrown So I’ll give the Hudson a 2 star on its own Worth a try if you’ve never been Pretty bad tho when the bathrooms floodin’ **Overall a pretty neat idea to have a 5,000 person capacity venue that’s pretty much made full time for raves and big events. However, it definitely does not support that capacity w/the bathrooms. Hella nasty.** **Free parking is pretty sweet though, and I never had any security guard run-ins**

Best rave venue in the last 5 years. I personally think the Hudson /Gothem is an amazing place. Ravers everywhere! The line streches all the way to Redlands sometimes… the smoking area outside is sometimes more crowded than inside. Pony beads everywhere. I am only reviewing the Hudson on the raves I have been to there… I have been to a ton here. I believe the first one here was Cyberton by AMS in 2006. I remember a friend telling me that there was a new venue that can hold 5000 people, all ages till 4 or 5am… completely legal. I thought he was clinically insane. And here we are years later… I guess I was wrong. For once… lol. This location is right off the freeway… good on and off access for when you get there and when you leave at night. There is tons of free parking in the private lot that surrounds the venue.(No one charging you 20 bucks to park) They have 5 different rooms big and small that can have different music.(The room towards the back can be split) I have always had good experiences with security… there have been a few times when people got out of hand and they took care of it. They must have been doing a good enough job since the Hudson has been going as a rave venue for like 3 or 4 years now. Yeah the all-ages thing sometimes really sucks but its better than having those kids at some random abandoned warehouse. I have even been to parties where they had a hip-hop show going on the Gothem side and a rave on the other side and there were no problems. No matter what you think about the clientele or the parties themselves its nice to have a nice, legal venue that you can count on. Thump thump thump thump thump… Partying in San Bernardino… if you are gonna do it you might as well do it right. :0)

So my little niece and her friends wanted to come here because it’s free and it’s all ages. Those are two very bad combinations. 1. Free– Because it’s free that means you have every single highschool/Junior Higher in here. If you thought your generation was bad in HS, today’s generation is really STUPID. 2. All ages– yeaaaa really nice of them to do that. Like I really want to get hit on by some 12 year old.(Shakes her head). Believe me I wanted to leave sooner than later, especially after some 16 year old was talking to me about Halo. Now i’m not an average girly girl chic. I love video games too, but that is NOT something I want to talk about within the first 2 minutes. At least he’s excuse was he is 16(yea, there was a 25 year old guy who tried that.((Shakes her head again)). The staff seemed ok. I wouldn’t buy a drink here just cause I was there with my nieces, but maybe i should have to ease the pain. Would I ever go here again? Put it this way. I didn’t like it when it was Gotham. Now think of Gotham x 10 on the sucky level.

I’ve been here a couple of times over the years and every time I’ve wondered why I bother to come back. First of all the place being in San Bernardino isn’t that bad, the free parking is a definite plus and its just off the freeway. That’s pretty much all it has going for it other than awesome dj’s occasionally. This place sucks. Security is SHADY. As are many people around this place. My boyfriend & I went and we were going to buy tickets at the door for the event, but this couple behind us were like«Oh, we don’t want to go anymore. We feel sick and we were here last weekend, just buy our tickets.» The tickets were still intact and totally legit looking. So we did. Tickets at the door were 65 and she sold me hers for 50 each which is how much they cost before hand. Yeah, well inside we learned they had already been scanned, so they were useless and we totally got scammed. I was so pissed, but I couldn’t figure out how they did it. Some girl in line told me security takes the old tickets and gives them to these scammers and they split the proceeds or something like that. I totally believe it. So… don’t EVER buy tickets from someone outside the event. You don’t know what you’re getting. This scam also happen to many people that were in line with us. Also, you cannot bring in cigarettes, not even unopened packs. Know why? Because they want to charge you $ 8 dollars a pack to get them inside. Also, lots of stupid little kids acting like retards, people are rude and creepy/gross… not everyone, but a lot of people were. It feels scary/unsafe, the music doesn’t sound as good as it should, security is on everyone left and right and they’re just MEAN. I go to lots of raves and this place is the worst. Wait for a good show at the Coliseum/LA Sports Arena or basically anywhere else that is not here.

i should have known how the night was going to go… 1. first thing i saw while getting in line was a kid on the ground screaming at the top of his poor lungs«ACIDACIDACIDACID!!» apparently he had taken too much acid. 2. waited in line for 2 hours. 3. got in and the place had a grimy industrial feel. 4. a friend got yacked on by a stranger. he went home. gross. 5. there were so many super trashed kids. saw lots of people getting busted, arrested and kicked out. bad vibe. unsafe feeling. 6. the sound in the electro room was horrible! 7. walking out of the door at the end of the night and there was a big fight. ouch. horrible. so that was my experience at the hudson. my first and last. never again. i’ll stick to massives thank you very much. owh…the drum & bass room was good. taxman and original sin were top notch. that is the only reason i stayed.

Lame. I went to a party there and they kicked so many people out. I saw at least 10 people getting kicked out and it totally ruins the vibe. I went the to bathroom and security thought I was doing something and they searched me. They found nothing so at least I got to stay but the bathroom stalls don’t lock and they sit there and watch you so be careful.

Maybe because I’ve been to this venue one too many times. Security guards could be a lot nicer but maybe with all the shit they have to put up with they arent. The venue itself is okay, parking isnt bad plus its FREE. Its divided into two areas, the hudson and the gothm, they will open both parts if its a big event. The back patio is where many people try to rush the gate. Ive seen it happen many times, most were pretty successful. Anyways, I wouldnt come here again unless it was free or if they had top of the line djs! I remember seeing LMFAO here :)

I was really excited when i bought 4 ticket for $ 25 and payed a convience charge to see lisa lisa, trinere, and debbie deb… well worth it right. I waited two hours to enter in line, finally entered and no alchohol was served, you had to stand and come 11(it started at 9pm) still no performances by the featured stars, just a stupid fashion show and comedian that i didnt pay to see, people were complaining asking for refunds, including me, which were not issued, and just leaving. which is what i ended up doing, never again will i pay to see a concert at that venue again…

I feel like a nearby high school would have a dance here… it has that sort of school gym-vibe but it’s also kind of cool, something you wouldn’t expect in middle-of-nowhere-so-boring-I-want-to-rip-my-hair-out SBernardino. I drove all the way from LA during traffic(4 hours woohoo!) just to see The Vincent Black Shadow open for Sick Puppies. I actually like the Hudson, if it weren’t in SB. It took me a while to find it; it was in an empty industrial-looking lot, posing as an indiscreet industrial-looking building. Once inside, however, you see a ‘VIP’ area where you can order drinks on one side, you have a small eating area on the other side, and a couple of seats on the other side(all of these form a C shape around the«pit» area/standing room) The stage itself isn’t that big(maybe 2⁄3 the size of the stage at the Wiltern), and the standing room area is maybe 20 feet x 20 feet, decently sized. It was a good crowd though there were a bunch of kids. They were well-behaved. The acoustics, hm, they were not bad. The lighting, eh, not very interesting. I actually do like this venue, but it gets 3 stars for being ghetto-looking on the outside and being in San Bernardino. There is absolutely NOTHING to do there/around the theatre after 9:30PM. In conclusion: there couldn’t possibly be any band worth driving out to there for. And if one of my favorite bands ever decides to play there, then they need to fire their booking agent right now.

Went here for my first time on Saturday for Xmas in July. Heard a lot of bad things about this place from friends. Seemed okay when I got to the Hudson but it was pretty cramped inside and the little smoke area out back felt like a splintery pen. I much rather prefer Pharoahs(which also isnt really that great) for ravin’. One thing that really got me was how confusing the layout is inside.

Just went there for the first time on Saturday. For Awakening. Saw Infected Mushroom, AK1200, and many others! Thought this place would suck, but it was a ton of fun. Enough room to dance all night, the outside could be bigger, but it was also a huge event. Insomniac events did a great job with the venue and had an awesome time! It was nice to go upstairs to dancing areas under fans, so refreshing! And a great view. FREEPARKING and tons of it! I prefer outdoor venues for these parties or raves, but this was a lot better then the ones I had been to at the LA Sports Arena and The Shrine, as long as they keep that crowd capacity!

Also known as Club Gothem. Hudson hosts various events from hip-hop club events to all-age electronic parties. huge free parking lot. no lounge areas. lighting, sound, gogo dancers, décor provided by event thrower so varies, a couple booths on one side. this would be the place in San Bernardino to hear spintastic performances. rave on kids, rave on. keyword: hudson prices range from $ 5(super pre-sale small events) to $ 60. generally, higher cover = better party
