Red Lobster

Hubby and I had an amazing experience for lunch today all because of our server Lauren. Our drinks were never empty and our meals were delicious. Hubby had a massive plate of rock and Maine lobster with lobster mac n cheese. I had the peppercorn sirloin with fried shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection. Another restaurant that can’t handle late guests. They close at 11pm; we arrived at 9:45! We were immediately seated and our order promptly taken by waiter Adam – who then disappeared! Two other wait staff stopped to check on us before another customer started yelling for us to get service! Adam was sent home a little before 11; then we got decent service from the manager.
The coconut shrimp and bacon wrapped scallops rocked, but the rest of the meal was just ok. The crab was dry and over cooked. We had to ask for drawn butter…

Server was good and would give her 5 stars but my 1 star review is based on the horrible food. Don’t be fooled by the market price lobster. Rip off… Paid $ 80 for 3lb lobster and was over cooked and half of the claw meat was missing/​vaporized even though the laws were the size of my husbands hands. The amount of meat that came out of it was the size of a couple of quarters… we were shocked and upset! Out of the 3lb huge lobster shell my husband and I maybe got a total of 3.5 inch square each worth of meat. Very disappointing!!!
Told our waitress the issue and just seemed to shrug off the issue and change subject. Manager didn’t even want to come talk to us.
My suggestions is buy your own lobster at the fish market cook it yourself and you can you tube the correct way to cook it and have a much better lobster to enjoy for half the price!
Also after googling why no meat in claws it says the lobster was either over cooked or they did not feed the lobster while it was in the tank and shrunk inside its shell (very sad and upsetting if that is the case)!

Waitress was great. DO NOT ORDER SHRIMP ON YOUR SALADS. SERVE YESTERDAYS OVERCOOKED REFRIDGERATED GRILLED SHRIMP. 4 of them. Yuck threw them out.
Used to be fresh baby shrimp. :-(used to be one of my favorites.
Ordered shrimp trio with baked potato. That was good. Biscuits always great.
