Sepulveda Building Materials

I priced pavers at Home Depot and Lowe’s then visited Sepulveda Bldg Materials and saved $ 150.00 on pavers that were even ½″ thicker. I bought the paver base and sand as well and I’m sure that was less than the retail stores. Sepulveda was a pleasure to deal with and very professional. I will certainly use them again.

We went on two different occasions to purchase rocks for a landscape project. On our first visit, we looked at all the selections to get ideas and start narrowing down the details for the project. We purchased some stones to get us started. Our second trip was to buy everything we needed to install drought tolerant landscaping in our huge front yard. We had two completely different experiences on those trips, so I can tell you that they can be very nice and helpful, but only if you’re spending a lot of money.
As for the selection, it is awesome — a little overwhelming to the novice, frankly. They have whatever you could dream of in the way of rocks.
If you order lots like we did, they’ll arrange delivery. They were very nice and helpful about this and we only had to wait a few days for our rocks to arrive. The driver was timely polite and pretty helpful. I could kind of tell that he didn’t want to be overly helpful. We paid for an hour of «placement» service, but he got out of there in under 20 minutes, leaving me to disassemble a crate and move the medium boulders. Some of them ended up in places we did not want them because they were simply too large to move. My husband and I were able to shove them off the crate and they ended up staying where they landed.
The expansive selection and good prices will bring us back next year when we start re-​doing the back yard. I’ll just have to order everything at once to get the nicer service.
