Well … Since this location has been closed for awhile, this review is pretty much pointless. Anyway, I’m not surprised they shut down this location. Although, there were business here and there, it wouldn’t be enough to keep the business running. I bought the minion crêpe last summer(yes, 1 year over due picture). I could’ve gotten crêpe from crêpe temptations at their location in SF, but I just had to have the minion crêpe and this location was the only location that made them. The cuteness and how it looked drew me in. Nothing amazing about the crêpe. I ended up taking a picture of the crêpe and threw the minion(Twinkie) in the trash because I don’t like twinkies. I’m not a Twinkie hater! I swear. It was worth it for the picture … At the time.

Great crepes, but I had to wait some time more than 30 minutes and there was one guy serving the whole time. I also got the tiger milk tea. They took so long we missed our movie! We got really mad. The guy noticed my family and then realizes that he forgot our bubble tea. He quickly made it. But it was the worst boba tea I’ve ever had! The boba wasn’t fresh at all and the tea was so bland that you could hardly taste how sweet it was! Never trying the boba tea again!!!

Decent crêpe… Long wait and the quality that I once associated with this place when it first opened has dwindled to near nonexistent. Crispy crêpe = mush and extra is not even crispy. And today the wait time was 30 min because they had a family of 8 waiting for 8 crepes and with 2 guys working and only one cooking because it was obvious the cashier didn’t know how to start or over see how a crêpe was doing was just depressing. If you need a crêpe and there is no line than go but if you think it’s a must try like Genki in the city than just keep walking. 3 star but only cause I give them respect for old crepes they served me but it’s more like a 2 star now.

Looked up Unilocal for dessert this came up & wanted to get some crêpe. A douche who works there was so eager to go home & told my boyfriend & I that they where closed & he had already taken the last order of the day. My boyfriend & I was so pissed off b/c we actually drove here just to try some of their crêpe. Had to Unilocal this after the idiot didn’t want to accommodate us. We got their exactly 9:30pm & was in line for 6 minutes. When it was our turn he apologized & said«That was the last order guys!» Will never come here with the service & good thing b/c I saw a picture they this place got roach. Thanks douche bag for not taking any order. He actually help us in the end from eating cockroaches. Eeeewww… Anyways, what’s the point of putting the closing time here in Unilocal at 10pm if you don’t accommodate customers till 10pm. Idiots!

The crepes are delish! I’ve had better but for being in the mall you can’t complain. The workers provide great customer service

On the decline… I first visited this spot shortly after it opened. A savory crêpe seemed just the alternative to crappy mall food before a movie. The first time, it was really good. They took great care in the preparation and even asked how I’d like my crêpe(soft/crispy). I was duly impressed(would have been 4 stars). Through subsequent visits, it’s always been a bit not as great as the previous. It appeared the lines were getting shorter with each visit too. My last visit, yesterday, pretty much made me give up on them. The(BBQ chicken) crêpe was too soft and stuck to the plate. My GF had the spinach-feta crêpe and it was just a soggy mess. No real attention was made during preparation. It’s pretty much like they just don’t care anymore. Well guys, if you don’t care about your food, I won’t care about your business.

Crepes are a pretty yummy thing. And honestly, I didn’t really think this place was that good. Crêpe Temptations is located inside Tanforan Mall right upstairs next to the movie theater. There’s a large menu for dessert crepes as well as savory crepes. I’m pretty sure you can make your own crêpe if you choose to. There’s no chairs for you to sit while you wait for your crêpe so you’re just going to have to stand around. Before my visit here yesterday, I only got their minion crêpe which I didn’t feel was really that good. It was definitely pretty to look at and I do love minions, but the look of it was all that was good. However, my cousin decided she wanted a piña colada crêpe yesterday so I took her here since it’s the closest crêpe place to home. Coming here, we were the 3rd person in line. There were 2 workers, one working the cash register and the other making the crepes. My cousin ordered their piña colada crêpe with nutella which cost an extra 95 cents and I got their chicken pesto crêpe since I love pesto… omg. pesto. yes. It took a good 10 – 15 minutes to get our crepes. My cousin seemed to enjoy hers and I have to admit, I like their chicken pesto crêpe WAY better than the minion crêpe I got a few months back. Overall, I would definitely get the chicken pesto crêpe again, but waiting for the crêpe takes a while so try to be patient.

Rarely do I ever write 2 star reviews(if I did, I need to update some) but ugh noooooo! I’ve been here a few times(didn’t know I was the duchess LOL awks) and usually their crepes are just average for me. But due to recent events, I deducted a star, unfortunately. I am one of those unfortunate souls who are allergic to hazelnut. Yes, I haven’t had Nutella in a really really long time and the last time I had it I broke out in hives. I opt AWAY from Nutella at all costs. There was only one worker, and only one other customer besides myself and my cousin. While he worked on their crêpe, he tells us «go ahead and tell me what you want» what the … aren’t you dealing with something else??? I ordered an i9, which is the Sweet Chudoku ice cream crêpe. Basically you have the choice of either mochi or custard, Nutella or red bean, and your choice of ice cream. I chose mint chocolate chip ice cream, mochi, and REDBEAN. Yup. REDBEAN. He’s at the far end of the area and he says«mochi and red bean?» And I verify it with him just in case. I get my crêpe, and it’s strangely covered with a lot of whip. I guess it’s normal since a lot of crepes are like that. The mochi on top is there, and I assumed that the red bean and mint ice cream are just hiding beneath the whipped cream so I’m okay. for now. One bite, I tasted this weird chocolatey substance in my crêpe. I take a closer look. What. The. Heck. Thats. Not. Red. Bean. It was nutella. I literally almost dropped the crêpe. The ice cream and the mochi were okay but WHATTHEHOOHAA, I could’ve sworn I told the worker REDBEAN. How does REDBEAN sound like NUTELLA. My cousin slouched off most of the nutella moments later but I unfortunately was only able to eat maybe 2 spoonfuls of ice cream before we got to the ice cream that was touching the nutella. My cousin really wanted me to complain, but I’m not one to get too riled up over matters like these. Just take a benadryl and hope that I’m good the next day. I do admit that it was solely my fault in not making sure that the crêpe was made correctly. but I was so sure that I made sure to inform the worker what I wanted :( Sorry crêpe temptations, I don’t wanna be your duchess anymore.

I was waiting for my movie at the Century theaters next door. I was excited to order a fruit crêpe… Then in blatant sight from the register… I saw small black cockroaches on the prep cart in the back. filthy… I didn’t order anything. My appetite was gone. What scares me, is that the lights were on, and it was very bright(with fluorescent lights) I wonder how horrible the bug infestation is when it’s night time. I should of called the health inspector.

The place on Judah is REALLYREALLY good so I feel kind of mean for giving this one a bad review but it just isn’t up to scale with their other location. There were only two workers there which was kind of annoying because it was noon on a Saturday. The girl who took my order took about 5 minutes to come over and help me even though she saw me at the counter. She must have been new, because I asked her for a half and half(strawberry and chocolate ice cream) and said she would have to check with her boss first to see if that was okay. I explained to her that at the Judah location I order that literally all the time and there’s never a problem. She was kind of awkward about it and took a really long time to make my crêpe even though I was the only person there. Plus the ice cream was half frozen and had these nasty little chunks in it. The crêpe was okay but not as delicious as their other store, seriously check that place out maaaann.

They make there crepes fast! I’ve tried a shake here before and it was really good, it was chocolate banana shake. They also make sure your crepes are big and fat! But also very good and tasty. They are very filling!

This place is hit or miss. Service was friendly and quick. The price for two regular teas with boba was less than $ 7 – not bad in the boba world. I ordered a Thai iced tea with boba which was delicious and perfectly sweetened. The boba pearls were just right – a bit gummy/chewy and fully cooked through. I also ordered my favorite flavor-almond milk tea with boba. I saved that for later… which was very sad. When I took my first sip, it was almost like drinking pure sugar. There was no hint of almond taste and all I could detect was the flavor of honey. Either I received the wrong drink or this was the absolute worst almond milk tea I’ve ever had. Suggestion.if you try this place, make sure to sip your drink before you leave, so you can ask them to re-do it if it is disgusting… I’m not sure if that would work, but it would be worth a try.

I was a little late to finally go to Crêpe Temptations for the crepes with the minions in them, but I did stop by last month to get a strawberry icy with boba. CT gives you two toppings at no extra charge when you buy a drink. I chose the regular big tapoica and the popping boba(tasted mango like). I liked the drink because it wasn’t overly sweet and syrupy tasting which a lot of boba drinks can be. The regular tapoica was a little too soft though for my liking. Good option in Tanforan for a snack/drink. 3 stars for now.

3.5 stars. Ordered the lychee ice cream and mochi crêpe with strawberries. The lychee ice cream was pretty good but the crêpe shell I thought was pretty hard. I usually like my crêpe soft enough where its chewy. Another thing, there was whip cream in my cream :(. The menu didn’t list whip cream and I had to scrape it all off. The people who work there are really nice though.

I really liked this crêpe stand. They have such a good location, being located right next to the Century box office. They must get a lot of business from movie-goers. The GF and I came here about ten minutes before closing time. They were still pumping out delicious crepes for customers. The digital menu is pretty hard to read, seeing as how all the different crepes, and their ingredients are clustered very close to each other. The paper menu is slightly better because it does not strain the eyes as much. We decided to other the ice cream and cake crêpe. We got cheesecake and lychee ice cream. When the order was completed, I was handed the crêpe. I was taken aback by how hot the crêpe was. I was definitely not expecting that. The presentation looked neat. Cheesecake neatly lined one side of the crêpe, lychee ice cream on the other side, more cheesecake on the bottom, and whip cream to top it off. It was a good tasting crêpe, and I liked it a lot!

Always come to crêpe temptations for a sweet dessert at tanforan. Always getting the red velvet cake, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream… and nutella(cost extra), with the original and crispy crêpe. Pure excellent and very sweet. Sometime the employee make so long because of the orders but its ok. Recommend going there.

This made me change my views about creperies. They are definitely not all the same. I came here expecting to get the same experience that I’ve had with Sophie’s. Silly me. I was ultimately disappointed. The wait was long, mainly because there were only 2 staff members working(the other one cashiering and making the drinks while the other one makes the crepes). They were both nice, however, and didn’t look too stressed out despite the customer traffic. Initially, I didn’t mind the wait because I was expecting to get a good reward after standing by for ~ 10 minutes. Watching the lady make crepes was entertaining too. After the wait was over, I got my crêpe, and it was basically ice cream on a crêpe instead of a cone. lol. The green tea ice cream was rather insipid that it didn’t stimulate my palate at all. The green tea crêpe that it was on didn’t help at all as it was burned, so yeah. I wasn’t happy. I tried gf’s crêpe(Oreo something) and it was also so-so. Because of that, I wouldn’t mind driving up to Japantown to get me a good crêpe.

Any place that serves up ice cream crepes like Sophie’s is a plus in my book! This place took over the hot dog spot right next to the box office for Century Theaters in Tanforan. I ordered the piña colada: coconut ice cream, coconut flakes, with pineapple in a original batter done crispy. They offer green tea and chocolate batter for the crepes as well. Tasted great! They have one side for crepes and another side for Boba tea with a ton of jellies puddings and popping Boba to choose from. Will be back!

This is so bizarre. I listed this new business last week only for someone to come along and change the address to the same as their SF location and then it got merged into the same listing. This is a new business in Tanforan Mall. How are people meant to check out the reviews and find the place if there isn’t a listing for it? In the spirit of both helping new business’s get established and members find new places in their area I’m hoping someone doesn’t play about with this listing too. Here’s a C&P of my original review(Which can also be seen here: ) 6÷13÷2012 New Dessert spot had their Grand Opening today. They are located on the upper level of the food court in between Burger King and Century Theater serving both sweet and savory Crepes as well as drinks with Boba. Prices are reasonable but wait times today fairly long, presumably because they’re brand new plus still getting into the swing of things. They also have a small amount of their own seating so you don’t necessarily have to go all the way downstairs and fight for a seat in the main area. Worth checking out. I certainly plan to again but once the chaos has died down!
