Great selection of shoes and sometimes great prices, I would say Ross has better prices. But I like this location because they have size wide in most shoes

I admit, I rarely write reviews for retail stores… most of my reviews are for service in hotel/restaurants. This store gets my good review for awesome service. I don’t expect a whole lot going into a payless. It’s sort of a serve-yourseld shoe shop, and that’s fine with me. I had visited a few locations however looking for a specific shoe in my size and didn’t find it. I went in here to check, and was approached by a very friendly and helpful sales person(wish I knew her name for kudos…). I mentioned what I was looking for and she got right to work scanning the shelves. When she didn’t see it right off, she went to the computer to check inventory. Told me they didn’t have it, but printed me off a coupon to use at another store and called the closest store that DID have it in stock to put on hold. I was super impressed. There was another couple in the store also searching for something and I overhead her giving them the same 4* treatment. I’ll definitely return to this location!

Every week I mentor at an after-school program. My team was preparing for their big competition at Stanford, so I decided to pick up some new kicks for them! All four girls agreed on a pair of ballet flats at Payless(+4 stars). Of course, none of the stores had all 4 sizes I needed. Had to drive to four locations(minus 1 star). Kinda cool b/c when they enter the item in the cash register, it prints out a receipt of local stores that have your sizes, at the bottom is a 15% discount(+1 star). Guess they feel bad you have to drive around. Bought two pair for one of the girls, cuz she was unsure of her size. Figured I would just return the one that didn’t fit. Why did I just find that second pair in my trunk last night? Called Payless to see if I could return the unworn pair of shoes w/receipt. Sure she says, but at the current selling price: $ 3 Paid $ 25 and now a brand new pair of shoes is worth the price of a happy meal(minus 1 star). Oh wells, anybody want a pair of size 7.5 silver ballet flats with embroidered stars on them?
