I saw Dr. Chan today as Dr. Lin was out of the office. I couldnt have been more pleased with him as well as his nurse. He listened to what I had to say and most importantly was non-judgmental. I had not followed what a prior sports medicine doctor had told me, and he never once criticized me. He actually ended up giving me lots of advice on how to deal with the pain — and instead of throwing a bunch of pills at me — he asked«well I hope Aleve is ok»? We both chuckled. Oh he also encouraged me to use things like epsom salts and whatever else was helping me feel better. He also laughed when I told him Id get my tetanus shot at Costco and told me ‘nope — youre not leaving my office till its done’. He’s got a great sense of humour, very easy to talk to, and cares about the health of his patients. While Im not technically his patient, I was told I could easily have him as my primary care if Id like that. If youre undecided, or have fears about going to the doctors(Ive had my share of them this year alone), I wouldnt hesitate to go see him. Ive never felt more sure about choosing a ‘right’ doctor. and Dr. Lin is incredible too. I feel like with either doctor you cant go wrong. So far — with everyone Ive met at PAMF Redwood Shores, I have NOT been disappointed. Everyone Ive met has been completely helpful.

Dr Albert Chan has been my primary physician for a number of years now. I have found him to be fully knowledgable in the medical field, professional yet«human» when treating me as a patient and always interested in my well being. He took the time to not only direct me to take appropriate tests, lab work and see specialists when needed, but he also took a holistic approach. He reviewed my physical, mental and emotional care needs. I gave Dr Albert Chan 5 stars because he deserves it. I hope others who might not be so lucky to have a Physician with his credentials and character may have an opportunity to see if Dr Albert Chan is the right Doctor for them.
