We LOVE Avenue Auto. Have been taking my cars there for many years, my husbands truck and my sons car also. They do fantastic body work and precision mechanical work also. Great customer service from Doug, Jeff and anyone who answers the phone. They have the quote for you to see before work is done and again after its complete. LOVE Avenue Auto!!! THANKS GUYS

Great job on all my cars. Pretty fast service. You can walk right in and get an estimate. They are all business. Parking is pretty bad around the area, but I wouldn’t take the car anywhere else!

I highly recommend this place. Customer service is outstanding. They are straightforward about their recommendations and estimates. You will not be disappointed. The work was completely described as well as was the costs. Everyone was very approachable. Jeff and his crew are top notch at Avenue Auto. I couldn’t endorse a better repair shop.

My car met with a large dent on front bumper while parking. Took it to a couple of places for inspection and initial estimate. It was a a hopeless experience elsewhere where the estimates were bloated and made no sense.
Got the reference of Avenue Auto service from Toyota dealer service center. Took the car there and next thing I get a nice written detailed breakdown of estimate by Aeron. Amazing guy, he gave the best rates and promised to deliver the car in one day.
My car was delivered like new with front bumper replaced and painted, headlights shined, car exterior polished, vacuumed interiors in the same estimated price the next day. What else can you ask for …

Avenue Auto Service just made my day! The door skin on my VW Jetta Sportwagen came lose and after taking a look the missing bolt was replaced, free of charge. The whole thing took less than 5 minutes. That’s what I call customer service. I will certainly remember them when I need work done.

My family has been using Avenue for years. I use them for all of my personal vehicles and they are honest and top notch. I would recommend this family owned business to anyone who needs there cat worked on.

I have taken my vehicles into Avenue Auto since the early 80s for everything both mechanical and body work. They are the best, no question. I always leave feeling like I got a good deal and they did a good job. When I leave. I know I am safe, and that is important to me and my family. They give me options when available and have worked with me over the years when I needed some flexibility. I can’t say enough about how friendly everyone is from the Mechanics to the Office Staff and a big shout out to Tony.
I hope everyone is as happy with Avenue as I am.

They did a fantastic job doing body work on Nissan Murano. They did two separate repairs:
1. It was keyed along the entire drivers side front to rear
2. Bumper was hit and needed to be replaced
It looks fantastic — I can not see anything imperfections or sign that any work was done.
The whole process was smooth and they worked seamlessly with the insurance company and with the rental car company.
To top it off they fixed my parking break and didn’t charge me for it — and this is after a local mechanic was unable to tighten up the brake and said it wasn’t possible.

I noticed my headlight was out this morning, and this place is near my work so I called to see if I could get it replaced sometime today. They said sure and I brought my car in ten minutes later, expecting to have to leave it and pick it up on my lunch break or after work. To my delight, they swapped out the headlight right then and there. (And it wasn’t like everyone was just standing around doing nothing until I showed up!) My favorite part of the whole experience was that I was treated like an intelligent human being with feelings and a busy schedule.
I’ll definitely be giving them a try for other kinds of car maintenance in the future.

Was stranded for about ¹¹⁄₂ waiting for my car to be towed by some tow company my insurance had provided me. Worst service ever. Had to call back my insurance to get someone to come get me and they sent me avenue auto service, not only did the guy come within 15 minutes but gave me the best customer service. Gary was more then helpful. wasnt rude and assisted on giving a ride to where my car was going. I highly recommend this company, they are AAA certified as well. Couldn’t be any happier on how my experience went

When I arrived at Avenue Auto for an estimate, Doug instead fixed my car in 5 minutes, and charged me a fraction ($ 35) of what other body shops had been saying. And prior to my arrival, Aaron had been responsive & helpful over e-​mail.
Avenue Auto was the third shop I’d visited, for an estimate for a relatively minor body problem. The first shop has yet to provide an estimate; they’ve had a day. (They’d informally quoted $ 140-​$ 450.) The second shop estimated $ 105, but omitted key information, and hasn’t yet provided it; they’ve had half-​a-​day.
This experience also reflects well on Carlsen Subaru Service (Chris Hawes), which had recommended Avenue Auto to me.

I have been a customer for over 3 years now and I must say that Avenue Auto has been a very good experience with my auto repair or serve needs. They treat me like a real person and respect me as a women coming in to have work done on my truck. Everytime I call up and ask Tony questions or want my truck to be serviced they are more than helpful everytime… They always take good care of me and keep me posted on any and all costs !!! If you are looking for a good place to go I say try Avenue Auto in Redwood city!

I had a big job to do on my car following a collision ($ 6,000). They were very patient while I decided what to do. Once I said «go» they had it done in 2 weeks, which is must faster then I had experienced in the past.
Aaron answered my questions directly, and always polite and he answered my calls promptly. When I picked the car up there was 1 problem with it.
The head guy was very experienced and knew what it was and they fixed it. I couldn’t get back to pick up the car until after 5 PM on Friday evening and they stayed late, without a complaint.
The car looks great and drives beautifully. the price was almost exactly that of the estimate.
The customer service was outstanding and being treated respectfully and honestly made having my car repaired almost fun.

I FIXED IT MYSELF!!! A GIRL!!! And IT COST ME A TOTAL OF $ 49.99 when I returned the core of the motor.. .and I learned from watching an online tutorial and downloading the owner’s manual for my car that I only needed ONE door motor and I had the window locks on the other side engaged.

No sir I do not trust it. I called here for a quote to get my Toyota door window motor replaced. I may have got a larger than usual quote despite all these great Unilocal reviews. DAMN. Is it because of my old car? Is it because I am a girl? Not sure.
The task– 2002 Toyota Window door motor replacement.
I was told the car window motor itself was «expensive» and the quote was $ 250 PER DOOR PLUS LABOR «but I can always get a used one» and «bring it down if you want maybe its just a fuse».. .LOL lead me into temptation, right?
After a drive to O’Reilly explaining what just happened.. . and not finding a «window fuse» in either of my two fuse boxes, the gentleman gave me a quote of uninstalled motor to be $ 80 with the actual price going down to about $ 40 if I take the core back for a refund. WHOA! FOR A BRAND NEW MOTOR.. .lol!
I’m no mathematician but that is a major MARK UP for an auto part, and I’ve since found that there a free online tutorials with step by step installment instructions. I’m looking at about an hour labor tops. Okay maybe 1.5 hours since I’ve never attempted it. And the only tools I need I already own. I’m not afraid to get dirty.. .lol!

Stuck in Redwood City… I called at least ten tow companies. The prices were astronomical! Finally got Avenue Auto on the phone. They were less then half of the other quotes. Arrived within 20 minutes. I wish I got the name of the driver because he was incredibly polite and took care of everything. Keeping this card with me.
Highly recommend.

AAA sent me here a few years ago when I got into a minor accident with my truck. Got it back in a couple days, looked great, and the service was great.
Moving to present times and a new vehicle, my car had a disagreement with one of those concrete barrier poles and lost. Back to Avenue, price was very reasonable (didn’t go through AAA this time) and had my car back in no time (did take an extra ½ day because it rained, not their fault and no biggie).
I highly recommend.

Great place! I showed up as a walk-​in for an estimate on the value of my car and having some minor body damage cleaned up. After other mechanics wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars to remove some paint and scratches from my passenger’s side door, Aaron quoted me a quick $ 35 to do it immediately. After looking at it, he had it done for free.
I was clearly prepared to pay a large amount of money for the service, and it was great to find a mechanic that wasn’t trying to take advantage of its customers. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

I’m really happy with my bumper replacement at Avenue Auto. After getting their estimate, I decided to go with them. The work only took a few hours, then it was finished! Although there was a mix up with my reflector light, I was able to easily bring it back and Dennis had it replaced within minutes.
Reliable, prompt service. Welcoming and helpful staff, you really can’t beat great customer service!

I am very happy with the body work that Avenue Auto did on my car. They replaced a taillight and repaired my whole bumper, even several nicks that had accumulated over time. The bumper looks excellent. The rest of the car looked terrific when I picked it up. It appeared like the car had even been given a wash.
Everything went smoothly with Avenue Auto and it’s easy to find the store and park on the road. I highly recommend them to others.
