I really enjoy eating here. Very friendly service and always very yummy food. I typically get a bento box but I would have to say the spicy tuna roll here is my favorite, and I love the edemame, so warm and salty and just yum!!!

So, why is it that you tell your customers you’re closed when the sign is still says «open» and your chef isn’t doing anything other than slowly walking back and forth at the bar? You guys either close exactly at 9:30pm or 9:15pm; don’t bs your hours.

Never a dull moment when Peter (Owner) is behind the glass. From custom cuts and dishes to the classics. This man’s wit is as sharp as his blades. If you want a quiet, intimate, candle lit dinning experience, don’t go to Aya (when I’m there)!

Seems I go to the five star spots. Here’s another great Japanese restaurant. Very friendly service and awesome fresh sushi.
Great selection of traditional and American style. You can get lost in the menu so have fun here. This spot is bookmarked !

Stopped by for a quick lunch with my kids. Ordered:

Tonkatsu Ramen
Caterpillar Roll
It’s definitely not going to be a destination eatery for me. Considering the number of good Japanese restaurants in the area, it doesn’t have enough going for it for me to consider hitting up again.
Ramen was on the salty side. Kids liked the soup, but I suspect that’s because it was overly salty. The pork was chewy and a bit fatty.
Gyoza…my son ate them all up, but they’re deep-​fried. That’s neither authentic nor the style I like.
Caterpillar roll was on the larger side but for what they charged you would think they were slicing me 3 avocados and giving me half an eel.
The service was good enough to push it back to 3-​stars. In a pinch I could stop by again but I don’t see that happening in the near future.

too pricy for the quality of food!!! there are many other great Japanese restaurants in the area. I might consider skip this place next time. but I have only tried a sushi roll on the menu, maybe other items are worth the price?
