E Cuts is great took us right in at the last minute and cut my sons hair. Did a great job on his hair everyone keeps asking us were we got it done. I highly recommend E Cuts over the competition. Keep small business alive. Thanks again we will return.

This is the only place my husband and my eldest son will go. Ebony and Austin and wizards when it comes to cutting hair. They take the time out to make sure you hair is perfect and if there is anything you want done they will do it. Ebony treats everyone that walks in the door like family. Austin is the only barber that my husband has found that does his hair right every time. My husband and my son are blond and most other places we have gone have left long pieces of hair uncut, this place is the only place to go if your want your hair cut right.

Stopped in from outta town to get a cleanup on the hawk. Not many places offer a straight razor cleanup. Nice folks, quaint spot. Austin hooked it up with trimmer, hot towel, straight razor shave on the sides; I was in and out of the seat in 30 min. Lines sharp only a few nicks. Dunno why people were bitching and complaining here on Unilocal.Guess each is own.

Well they are friendly here, but that’s all I can say that’s nice. They didn’t pay attention to what I asked for. It costs more than Supercuts but it is worse than Supercuts. The Clippers scratched my head. I look like I still need a haircut after 40 minutes of being in the shop and I am on my way to another barber to fix what they screwed up. I would have told them that I didn’t like the haircut and ask them to fix it, but I didn’t want to be in there another hour while they screwed it up some more. The absolute worst part was that they spread some sort of horrible smelling disinfectant around the edge of my head that still stinks like hell 20 minutes later. Do not come here!
Originally gave them two stars for the niceness, changing to one star after I went to a proper haircut place and they told me the extent of the devastation. Guy took a chunk out of my hair right in the middle of my head and didn’t even blend the sides into the top. Other place (Sharkeys in Belmont) managed to correct it in five minutes and I look human now.

I come here every two weeks because I know I can get a great haircut every single time.
Ebony and Scott both do great work and they also do their best to always put their customers first. They are both very personable and very friendly. It’s an awesome experience coming here because it’s nice to catch up with my good friend Ebony!

I’ve only been in for some beard trimming, but Scott was extremely careful and meticulous, took it down just the way I wanted it.
So far, real good so I’ll be back when my hair needs attention.
There’s a very friendly vibe, too. If they sold coffee or beer, I’d be a regular.

One of the best Barbershops I have ever been too, since I was born. 5 Stars Quality, I commend for great talent.

Eboni gave me a great haircut and was super friendly, making me feel right at home. Also, they’ve got great movies playing on their big screens, so you can catch a movie while you get your hair cut.

I’ve been going to E Cuts for over a year now, decided to finally take the time to post.
There are several types of professions in life that seem to be the hardest to find:
1) A reliable mechanic YOU CAN REALLY TRUST
2) A good dentist that you and your whole entire family can be comfortable going to (has to be especially has to be good with our kids, especially since they are always the most terrified with dental care)
3) A barber who has perfected their craft so greatly that you can go to them over and over and over again with the same perfect results
Luckily, I’d had found #1 and #2 several years ago.
Having found Ebony at E Cuts San Carlos= NOW I’M GOOD!!!

I used Unilocal to find a local hair cutting place for my boyfriend who wanted a tapered cut. I called Ebony and she was delightful (call off hours and enjoy her outgoing voicemail message) — very warm and welcoming. My boyfriend had given me a ‘coupon’ for Christmas where I could direct and supervise his haircut (I had complained a few times about his military cuts). Ebony got a kick out of the coupon and didn’t mind me directing her at all — and standing by the whole time. She did an A-​1 job — exactly as I requested and I was very happy. My boyfriend loved the cut too (brave guy to let me call the shots!) and he’ll be going back. The others in the shop were very nice too and the atmosphere was friendly and professional at the same time. I highly recommend the shop and Ebony in particular.

First of all, the people who work here are fantastic — super nice and personable.
And now to the haircut… My boyfriend came here because of all of the great Unilocal reviews. At first he was satisfied with his cut but then once we got home he realized that there was a whole patch of hair that was left uncut right at the top of his forehead and it looked kind of weird. I’m not sure if the patch was left there on purpose, but he had never had any barber cut it like that before and he was not a big fan of it.
Other than the little patch, his hair looked fine; they’re really good at doing fades. And, like I said before, they are all super nice there.

This is the first time I was let down by Unilocal Reviews.
Eboni is friendly and a very nice lady. I wish I can say the same about her hair cutting skills.
Everytime I call for an appointment and I always show up on time only to end up waiting for 45 minutes, what was the point of calling ahead then?!
She, barely listens to what you really want. One 2 different times I specifically said, please don’t do anything to my beard. Guess what she ruined it both time.
God help you if some of her friends or kids are around in the shop. She is so distracted trying to chat up everyone instead of concentrating on getting your hair cut right.
Scott is a quite a bit better… that is when he is in a good mood!

Parking is not great, park anywhere and walk. The cut and service was awesome.

Living on the Peninsula, there aren’t that many barbers who specialize in trims/​fades. I’ve always been going to Supercuts because it was convenient for me after I got off. So I researched and found E Cuts 4 U in San Carlos. I wasn’t able to get my first cut done by Eboni so I had Scott do my first fade here. Scott did magic with his clippers. My fade turned out clean and straight unlike the girls who fade me at Supercuts. For just a couple dollars more… come on down to E Cuts 4 U and get your fade done right!!!

I was looking for a shop closer to home. Who do I turn to? My old friend Unilocal.Read the reviews, decided to gamble and go. 1^st, the shop is clean. Good sign. Second, Ebony, very friendly, and listened to what I wanted to do with my hair. 3^rd, I showed up for my appointment sat down right way, i didn’t have to wait. I like that. Oh and the cut was on the money. I’ll be back regularly. If you see me in the chair say what’s up. She can cut all types of hair Black hair, straight hair. She is superb.
