Got to love the artificial turf here. Clean and crisp all year round without looking like cheap plastic. Kids have a lot of fun playing soccer and baseball here. The play structures for the younger kids need a little revamp though — showing their age. Tennis courts are decent and lighted at night(check for schedule changes). Good neighborhood park to visit with plenty of parking.

I’m used to ugly parks with unmaintained services, but this was a totally new atmosphere. Came with a couple friends a few days ago. Turf is pretty good, good grip for cleats. Only thing unexpected was that the ball went down the hill; that’s a first. Over all, awesome place for soccer and meeting old friends.

many tennis courts, baseball fields. Soccer field where kids love soccer meets. It’s higher up the hill so chilly in winter months but it’s all lit at night and very clean. awesome park for kids and adults.

This review is for the toddler/kids play area. But for the other areas first… construction is done there and the new turf is done. Looks lush green and looks like real grass. I’m sure that for baseball leagues and soccer leagues — it’s a great place for games because it has bleachers for seating and bathrooms. It looks like it also has a small concession stand for games, too. Now for the toddler play area… I really wish it was enclosed. It’s much smaller than I had imagined. It’s got 2 swings for the toddlers and a truck along with a small sand play area. The other children’s play area looked more decent. It has a nice play structure where kids can climb, crawl thru and slide. It also has a separate sand area. But being a mother with a small child… it means that trying to keep them in that area… is hard. So an enclosure would be helpful and it also would help keep the dogs out. Highlands Park has a walking/jogging trail and I see that if you live nearby… it’s great. It’s surrounded by trees and a looks like a pretty place. But I didn’t see a whole lot of picnic sites to sit on, no bbq’s. Maybe I didn’t go far enough… I just didn’t see them. People definitely like to walk their dogs here. I just really wish people would be more responsible about picking up after their pets, especially when you have so many kids playing in the area.

This park has 5 lighted tennis courts. After you pass the tennis courts, there is section of the park that is under construction. There is a baseball diamond, jogging paths, soccer field(goal posts set aside in the evening) and a small playground for children once you pass the construction. I will definitely be back here.
