Dr Nancy Kaher is a very pleasant dentist, truly cares for your needs,& a great listener.
Love her office team they are kind, accomidating, extreamly friendly.
My hygienist Shawn is excellent, gentle,& thorough.
Office atmosphere is very relaxing & clean.
I highly recommend Dr Kaher & her staff.

Fabulous dentist! I was worried about going in because I hadn’t been to the dentist in 2 years. Luckily, I had nothing wrong and she didn’t try to tell me I needed any work. She easily could have because it would have been totally believable after having not gone to the dentist in two years.
I just had a cleaning and xrays and it didn’t hurt at all. I also explained that I’ll be leaving my current job in August and won’t have dental insurance, so they made sure to do all the xrays now so my insurance would cover all of it.
Dr. Kaher and her team are so friendly and kind and made sure nothing hurt. My mouth is tiny and I always have a hard time with xrays, but the dental hygienist (Lynne) was great about getting them done with no pain and being really patient with me.
I also recommended my friend go to her for a second opinion after her original dentist said she needed a root canal. Dr. Kaher told her that she didn’t actually need one. The fact that Dr. Kaher could have done a procedure and made money off of it, but chose to be ethical and truthful reinforced my wonderful opinion of her.
Great dentist, great hygienist, and great office staff too. Will definitely be keeping her as my dentist and recommending her to my friends and family!
She also has an office in Palo Alto, but has more appointment openings in her San Carlos office (she’s only in Palo Alto on Fridays).

I hate the dentist, but Nancy and her team are great! Patient and kind. I drive from San Jose to see her.

My old dentist moved offices and I decided not to follow him. And then somehow two and a half years had passed and I hadn’t had a cleaning. Yikes! I knew things were dire when my already sensitive teeth started bugging me when I ate citrus. So I asked my kids’ pediatric dentist (Urmi Amin — she’s the bomb!) for a referral and she sent me to Dr. Kayer.
Lynn, one of the hygienists, took care of me first. I told her that I thought I’d need novocaine because my teeth are so sensitive, and she told me she had some techniques she thought might be successful that she’d like to try first. Man, let me tell you, this is the firs time in at least 15 years that I haven’t nearly jumped out of my skin from being zinged during a cleaning — with NO novocaine. Lynn is AMAZING! She’s also funny and engaging — I can’t say enough good things about her.
Then it was Dr. Kayer’s turn. Again, she is funny and engaging and she made me feel like she was really interested in my overall health and wellbeing. What a lovely experience!
Oh, and no one gave me a hard time for staying away from the dentist for so long. I’m just glad this is the office I landed in when I came back. :-)

Dr. Kaher is a great dentist. She’s funny and she doesn’t just treat you and sends you on your way. She is very personable.
I’ve only been lucky enough to be her patient for a short while and am leaving her due to relocation. But in the short period of time she asked me all about me, my family, and each time I came back (and not all that often either) she remembered everything and inquired about life.
Her staff in San Carlos is great, everyone is just so nice! And she is a top notch doctor.
