Kathleen van der Spek

Kathleen is one of those designers who makes me want to completely re-​do my wardrobe and to commit to a quality-​not-​quantity approach. Her designs are so well-​made, wearable, and unique that I could justify being a proud sponsor. I discovered her at the F3 Cotton Mill Studios open house event on July 15^th, and found her collection a bit too perfect for me. Dangerously, delightfully so. It was meant to be.
While I’m still a sucker for a sale rack, I splurged on a one of a kind KvdS blouse that is a new staple and gets constant compliments (check out the pic!). I would wear anything she makes.
Plus, she is a totally genuine, sweet, approachable, unpretentious chick. Not an ounce of «fashioner designer» snobbery. And her French sidekick is a charming fellow, too!
