Isei does my elderly mother’s hair. He is one of the warmest, nicest, most gifted people you will ever come across. He does wonders to put my mother, who suffers from severe memory impairment, at ease while he makes her feel special and beautiful. Her hair looks great by the time he is finished.
Isei is, not only a wonderful professional stylist, he’s an outstanding human being whom I am so honored to come to know! Stilo Salon has a real gem in him!!!

I’ve been going to Sasha for over ten years — when he was at Stilo and when he launched his own salon. Sasha has always been cutting edge for me, giving me cuts and styles unique for my personality and lifestyle. I get tons of compliments on my haircuts, style and color. When at the salon, I become relaxed and slow down as he has created an environment that allows me to rest and catch up on reading.

I know that fate brought me to Isei, and now that I have found him, I’m never letting go! haha! Seriously, he is so great! I ended up with him one day because I walked in to get some product, and kind of hoping to get a totally last minute hair appointment for a very last minute trip, with anyone who might be available. I ended up talking with Isei and he was so impressive about the approach he would take with my hair, AND he just happened to have a cancellation and could take me right then! He came up with a regular plan to nurse my hair back to health and get it to where I wanted it, and wow, what an improvement. He cuts and colors my hair and it has never looked or felt better. Of all the stylists I have been to over the years, he is by far the best! And, as an added bonus, he is truly one of the sweetest people, has the biggest heart, and greatest energy. He is such a joy to be around, and I always look forward to my Isei time! He has been doing my hair for about 4 years now.
As far as the salon itself goes, it’s a really beautiful space, the people who work there are so warm and friendly, They carry great products that have really made a huge difference for my hair. Overall it’s really a lovely experience.

I have been going to Erica H. for about 7 years and have never looked back. My hair always looks great and get such great feedback from all of my friends and family. I do not hesitate to refer everyone I know and that says a lot! Not only do I tell her what I want, but she always give great advice and that is important because I don’t want someone to take what I say and go with it. I want feedback and guidance, because she’s the professional, I’m happy being the satisfied customer :)

Nice interior but my hair turned out very average both in both highlights and cut. I didn’t fall in love with this place… My search for the perfect cut and highlights continue on.

Phil Afflack takes very good care of my long, straight hair, and is enjoyable to spend time with as well. I always put off getting my hair cut for too long a period of time, and think it looks fine when I come in, but when Phil’s done, I see how much better it is and I always vow to get it cut more often afterwards. It *moves* even without any effort. :)
The salon itself is fine, very clean and efficient.

I followed Ceci here from Stilo and I am so so glad I did. She has been doing my cut and color for about 2 years now, and I have never been so pleased. She is incredibly talented — I usually show her some pictures of what I am thinking, and then she will add her creative vision to it and make it happen. She always gives me the best advice, asks questions to make sure I am comfortable, and is a great personality. I recommend her to all my friends, and they love her too!!! I also love the products at Sasha’s, it’s a beautiful salon with a great environment. Definitely recommend taking a trip here for Ceci! :)

I trust Lisa with my super-​short bob! I’m very particular about my do, so it speaks volumes when I find a great hairdresser. Love the salon; and the owner is really nice.

I followed Ceci here from Stilo Salon. She is the best!!! Ceci originally made my brown hair beautifully blonde which I loved! I’ve been blonde for over a year and recently decided I wanted to go dark for fall and was nervous/​excited. I showed her a few photos and she made sure to explain the process and what she was going to do. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed about going dark. I absolutely LOVE the results!!! I also got my hair cut and it came out perfect. Ceci is the only person I can trust with my hair and I would recommend her to anyone. Sasha Salon is also very nice and I love the products they carry.

Kelly did my bridal make up and it was AMAZING. The makeup lasted all day– eventho i was tearing up a lot– and my skin usually acts up with heavy foundation, but this time– my skin was clear after the full day as before the makeup. I cannot thank her enough for making me look so beautiful!!!

This review is for miss Lisa. Found her about 3 months ago and I don’t plan on leaving her anytime soon. She knows how to blend my current color with some really smooth highlights. I’m a blond so matching my roots is never easy but Lisa has managed to do so perfectly :-)
As for the salon itself, its pleasant. Keurig machine is available and the music is pretty good. Sometimes its annoying being passed around from person to person when I’m getting my hair washed but I assume it’s just everyone trying to maximize each others time. Can’t complain for being efficient ;-)
I think this salon is going to grow with time and only get better; so anyone who might have had a bad experience with a stylist, don’t bring down the entire salon. Simply change it up until you find your hair care partner.

I found Sasha a year ago and have been happy generally most of the time. However — today the person washing my hair didn’t wash the hair along my neck and got color on my shirt and apparently forgot to condition it as it was so sticky I couldn’t get the brush through it without it pulling. There was no flat iron at the blow dry station and when I asked — I got shoulder shrugging?
Feeling pretty discouraged and thinking perhaps I need to look around now for another salon.

I came to Sasha’s salon because I follow Jessica Farias on Instagram (@jess_farias)and loved her work. I have really dark hair, and have gone threw so many hair dressers to try and get my hair blonde, and not brassy ugly orange blonde (I am Latina and have natural really dark hair) but almost platinum. Since I am of darker skin complexion, I like the ombré/​Beylage look because I like to keep some dark. So I went out on a limb, because you can’t always trust pictures on Instagram, since things may be altered or filtered. The morning of I felt sick to my stomach, scared and was about to call and cancel on Jess, but I grew a pair and said screw it, and I’m honestly glad I did… JESSICA YOU ARE AMAZE! My hair is perfect, the color the cut the everything! I’ve never been happier with my hair, and like I told her «if I could, I would kiss you» lol she’s great. she told me exactly how my hair would react, she let me know that my hair would have some breakage, but with proper care it could be nursed back to health. I can’t express how much I love my hair, but I will say if you want to be happy with your hair color go to Jessica Farias at Sasha’s salon, not only is she the sweetest she’s the best at what she does!
I will defiantly be back for a touch up, but I will say after vacationing in the Bahamas for a week & Baja CA another next week, my hair still to the day has not become brassy, ugly or lost its shine (btw it’s been three 3 weeks of lots of sun lots of ocean & chlorine water).

I just moved to Redwood City and needed urgently a hair cut since i burned my hair by using a flat iron when my hair was still wet. Thanks for Unilocal and the reviews i read about Kelly I finally have a new look and I feel like a new person. Kelly rocks !!!

Kelly C. Is absolutely amazing! I have always been hesitant to do anything with my hair with the fear that it would turn out to be a nightmare, but Kelly’s superior coloring and cutting skills have put my mind at ease! She gave me a haircut that I love and a few days later I came back for a blue ombré. She stays up to date on all the current trends so you know you will be getting the newest look when you come to her.
Anyone who has been wanting an edgier look or has been hesitant like I was should go see Kelly C.
Sasha salon is also a very posh salon. You know that the quality of service you are receiving is worth every single penny.

Ahhh-​mazing. Loved my bridal hair and makeup by Kelly. She basically followed me around on my wedding day making sure the ladies (me, mom, bridesmaids) looked AMAZING. I had a few hair change-​ups throughout the night by Kelly as well. Really loved knowing that a pro would be nearby in case any hair/​makeup mishaps happened. Also, the MAC makeup seriously lasted all day without too much touch up needed. You don’t need to worry about looking like a wilted flower at the end of the day! As always, I love having Kelly around and her work is always amazing!

Phil Afflack joined Sasha this year after being my «cutter» (??) for many years at Juut…
I would follow him ANYWHERE ! He cuts hair perfectly each and every time. He is totally amazing. I have very fine treated hair, and thinning too. After a great cut I can just run my fingers thru my above the shoulder length hair every day not even needing a brush, and it falls right into place like magic. The right cut is 80% of looking good…
Oh… Did I mention he gives a nice scalp and shoulder massage first, so if you want the best cut ever, pay a bit more and do it right!

I was desperate for a hair cut on a Saturday, which any sane person knows is impossible without an appointment. After calling 5 salons, I was able to get in here at Sasha and was very pleased with the experience, start to finish.
The man answering the phones was incredibly patient and polite. He even recognized me when I showed up for my appointment.
The salon layout is well-​designed, modern, clean, and obviously well-​maintained. Tabitha won’t be visiting this salon for a lashing any time soon!
My stylist, Melissa, listened to my overly complicated hair needs with patience and understanding. It shouldn’t be a rare thing, but it is. She even told me that I was welcome to come back for any minor adjustments if needed in the next two weeks since I am transitioning from chemically straightened hair to my natural curl. It was very much appreciated (and probably will be needed in this special time!)
Overall, I was impressed, and I am not one easily impressed when it comes to salons. I look forward to patronizing this salon often in the coming years.

Need a touch up/​darken up my roots. Jessica was great.
They have the best line of products & a very clean environment. I will update my review when I go in for a 2^nd time.

Excellent team of professional hair stylists/​colorists working at this beautiful salon !!! I went there to get my roots done and fresh up my highlights and get a hair cut as well… Sasha did all of that for me and a beautiful job he did … I’m so happy with the result… Definitely met my expectations…
For not mentioning the friendly and nice staff who greet you the moment you walk in (I had my appointment. 9:30 am and didn’t have time for my usual morning coffee… To my joy I had a cup of very good coffee in my hand within minutes I set Down in my chair… SERVICE)!!!
Ladies And gentlemen if your looking for the perfect hair color/​highlights/​haircut… No need to look forther… Get your next appointment here… Perfection is their goal and frankly who doesn’t want to look perfect!!!
