A typical starbucks, except that 2 hours before closing the staff decided to loudly clean everything, close the bathroom, and mop under every table. Kind of shitty, given that the main selling points of a Starbucks are the quiet, the wifi, and the john.

They need to get some ventilation going in the bathroom here. The last couple of times I’ve come in here, the bathroom has been stuffy and smells like a combo of body odors + Spirit (the cleaner they use.) Yuck.
BUT they have the Bantam bagels here. Which doesn’t sound like anything special (mini bagel holes filled with cream cheese), but I’m a fan. I wish they had these at more Starbucks.

This morning’s team wasn’t very friendly. The store was clean, nice neighborhood. There was a line but no one seemed to be in too big of a hurry. I wasn’t sure why the cashier felt he couldn’t be bothered. Maybe the weekday crew is better because thankfully the coffee tasted the same.

Worst customer service. The cashier forgot to give the Barista my order and after 23min I said something because I could tell they were busy. Somehow my order wasn’t there And I got no apology or eagerness to make my drink. Instead I got attitude as if it was my fault. After 5min I asked for a refund. Will not be back to this location.

Disappointing staff. I’ve come here a few times now and I’ve got to say I’ve never experienced such poor customer service from any Starbucks in the Peninsula area. Every time I come in they’re always cranky, and rude and clearly just in a bad mood. They make it very very clear that they are annoyed they have to be there this early.
Listen I know its early for you too and you probably have to get there at 5 a.m. to start your shift but you agreed to work here and this is the job you’re being paid to do! So try putting a smile on your face for all your patrons! Probably the last time I’ll be coming to this location because of how rude the staff is wow.

I don’t go to Starbucks that often I go to Pert’s or Philz, went here just bec. I got a gift card and the cashier was not helpful I ask what’s the difference of tall and grande? She looked dumb founded that I did not know the difference I thought that was very rude, she didn’t even ask my name to write on the cup for the barista to call you so everyone was grabbing there coffee then putting it back coz it’s the wrong order, why don’t they stick to the plan and get people’s name and call them when there coffee is ready? Poor management rude people will not be back here again

Quick service, but horrible customer service. One of the baristas was very rude when I was ordering a drink. I had a free drink and forgot to tell the cashier until the order was placed, and she said «you should’ve told me before». No apology, no cancelled transaction.

Unless you live in these apartments. There is literally no parking. Where am I supposed to park? On the building??? Bad idea. Should have kept the old location ACROSS THE STREET, with a parking lot.

Most Starbucks are consistent, this one is not. They are apparently deaf to the word Soy. I’ve had em forget this 50% of the time that I’ve stopped coming here.

This is the best Starbucks location! Best crew, best service and best drinks. I no longer work in San Carlos but it is still worth coming here for coffee and I frequent it often!

Do not come in here unless you want lousy service. Unfriendly and bad attitude. I drink pike everyday but the one here tasted water down, so unfriendly that I am going to another starbucks.

My barista was very welcoming and spelled my name correctly. I didn’t catch his name unfortunately. It is a small but cozy location with parking all along the street (it was 9:30in the morning) will come back when I am in the area again.

Last night at about 8:45 pm (closing states 9:00pm) three friends and I went in. One barista was putting chairs away and mopping. I went to the counter to order. My friend went to use the restroom… mopping barista says hey you can’t use that, I’m about to clean it.
After waiting for a few minutes for the other barista to come out of the back my order was finally taken… not by her but the mopping barista.
Tacky. Remember who your customers are if it’s 7 am or 8 pm. The most unfriendly Starbucks I have EVER been to.

Apparently Starbucks doesn’t consider emotional support dogs for cancer patients a service animal. Since I just got kicked out of this one with my dog. Maybe they should make their ‘we welcome service animals’ signs more clarified.

I love coffee so don’t mind spending much on them.
At times I feel Starbucks are overrated coffee shop with comparatively pricey menu.
But when things are on offer– like last month’s frappucino happy hour I go there to have a couple of servings in a day.
All in all a decent (but pricey) coffee shop.

As a daily visitor to a Starbucks somewhere on the peninsula, I’m a devoted customer.
This location is primarily used for people getting coffee to go. The seating isn’t the most conducive to talking or working on your laptop.
But they make great coffee. They’re friendly. And if you can put on your headphones and deal with a hustle bustle environment, this could be your spot.

Renovated & clean this Starbucks is awesome; friendly and fast! Don’t spend too long however charging your phone (free) using the wifi (free) or lounging outside on their chairs. San Carlos City has a 2hr limit on parking everywhere and they are fast to ticket you! Be careful coffee drinkers!

I only have Starbucks when I am out of options. I was really underwhelmed by this location. It was later at night and I wanted a warm drink with out caffeine. I ordered a hot passion fruit tea, and they made me a cold one. I then told them I said hot, and they told me they were out of hot passion fruit tea. So I told them any herbal non caffeinated tea would do. They then told me they were out of all non caffeinated teas. So I begrudgingly ordered a decaf coffee, which I hate, and then was told they were out of decaf coffee! How could you be out of everything! Plus I peeped the food area and it was barren. I have never seen a Starbucks location out of so many items!
