I came here twice this week, I’ve also been here numerous other times. Hey I guess that makes it pretty good. when I think Subway I think, this place. I guess the location is pretty good to so that’s one reason. They’ve never messed up my order. I like my sandwiches extra saucy which they did exactly. They should really put rockstars as the drink selection. I’d be there a lot more then. Its funny, I lost my job and two days later they send me a subway gift card because someone wrote a compliment about me ha I should use that in my stand up comedy set. well. thanks subway for the sandwiches. The noise level is at a pretty nice chill quite too.

I go here about three times a week for lunch, as i work close. However, I don’t go here by choice. I go because it’s cheap and I want a healthy salad for lunch. I also go for the dude who always wears an army shirt(sorry man, I forgot your name). He’s super friendly and he makes everything great. This review regards my most recent experience with one of their new hires that just destroyed my final nerve with experience with their new hires. I asked him his name, he said it was«Shreva» or something like that, I didn’t quite get it. I drove there for my lunch to get my usual salad and I see this new employee. He asks me what I would like to order. I responded«Can I please get a chopped veggie salad» and he said«I’m sorry, I’m not trained for that». He’s Indian with a strong accent — I didn’t understand him that well, so I had to ask him to repeat that about 5 times for me to finally understand that what he was trying to say was that he wasn’t trained to make a salad and that he was only trained to make a sandwich. I almost said«Can I walk you through it?» or «Can I just make it myself?» but it took everything I had to not say something mean. Rage was flowing through me because I was hungry and I wasted my lunch driving there and I wouldn’t of had time to go anywhere else. That’s when I asked him for his name and then he answered and walked away rudely. I don’t like ragging on people or leaving bad reviews, but come on…

I have never wrote a review on Unilocal before but I felt compelled to this time after visiting this subway. WORSTSANDWICH I HAVEEVERHAD!!! This girl behind the counter totally obliterated my and my girlfriends sandwich. she globs on soooo much mayo and mustard that’s it’s literally oooozing out of the sandwich, onto her hands and therefore covering the entire outside of the footlong.

Went there a little bit ago at exactly 8:15pm, the sign says open until 9pm, when I walked in the male employee said they are closed, sorry(but didn’t sound at all sorry). Strange to close 45 minutes before the stated time.

You know, Subway is fine for a quick bite, the prices are decent, and the ingredients seem fresh. But why can’t they figure out how to ring up the $ 6 meal deal? I have gone to three different Subways, and every one overcharges — anywhere from $ 6.50 to $ 8.00. It’s very frustrating. On top of that, the staff never seems to know what is going on. If you ask what sandwiches are available for $ 2, they’ll say they don’t offer that. If you ask for the $ 5 foot long, they’ll look at you like you asked for free food. It’s really annoying when you see the sign is right behind them.

We stopped in today to pick up a few sandwiches and the service was horrible. There was a piece of turkey outside of the container(half in another) and on the referigerated divider – she picked it up and tried to put it on my sandwich! Gross! Then, although she had gloves on, she touched just about everything in the store; what’s the point? She didn’t shake the mustard and poured a ton of the separated mustard water on my sandwich! Gross again… I felt that it was dirty and unclean and that the employee didn’t care about food safety.

I go here primarily for the affordable lunch option. Black Forest Ham tastes okay, so does their Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki. Almost always choose Italian Herb & Cheese for type of bread. Not great beverage selection. Limited seating, but I usually take a seat at lunch because it’s a short walk from my job.

The reviews on this location are spot on. It’s tiny, the employees(75% of them) have an attitude problem, and the music is so loud! It’s like walking into a ghetto 94.9 style club or a fiesta. Completely unprofessional. It’s called koit people. Universal«business station music». The only reson I continue to come here is because its so close to my job, and cheap. The sandwiches are so so– but that’s just what subway tastes like.

this subway is a very tight fit. if you have a big group of people, such as a family of 4 or larger, find another place to eat, they dont have the room here. The food is as expected for a subway, it is clean and the people are fairly nice

Update … I was rushed so stopped here. Still bad. Stale tasting bread and the music was so blasting I has difficulty hearing the woman making the sandwiches. Plus she had a definite attitude. Subway management really needs to check this place out. The two in Belmont are way better.

This is one of my least favorite Subways — I now drive to Redwood City for my sandwich. There are a couple of girls there who have the attitude that they’re doing you a favor — don’t need that. Plus the sandwiches don’t seem to have as much content as elsewhere.

This is one of the better Subway restaurants I frequent since it is closest to my office and the food is good. They fill your sandwiches with the usual Subway goodies, not like some of the other Subway restaurants I’ve been to. If I’m paying $ 8 for a friggin sandwich it better be loaded with fixings. I’ve been to a few of those Subways and let’s just say I haven’t been there since. Today’s experience was quite annoying though. I came in and the girl behind the counter asked what I wanted in the smallest frigging voice. To top it off I couldn’t even see her as her head didn’t make it above the glass sneeze shield or whatever you call it. While bobbing my head around to see if I could read her lips to find out what she was saying, she started making the wrong sandwich. I corrected her and it looked like she was on the right track. Since I didn’t want it toasted she moved onto the veggie section where I said I want everything on my sandwich. She looked at me a little puzzled and started putting the veggies on. Her technique wasn’t the greatest because she couldn’t spread the items on evenly. Then another employee came and started evening it out for her. From there she asked if I want mayo or mustard, I said yes and from there she laid on a big blob of mayo on one side and barely a line on the other. Same thing happened with the mustard. She then looked at me confused. I said that should be all because I was afraid of what she would do with the vinegar and oil. And right as I was asking for her to spread the mayo/mustard she closed my sandwich. sigh I think she was a newb in training. Oh well, at least the sandwich was good, minus the pockets of mayo and mustard.

Since all Subways basically serve the same food, this serves as a review of this location. It’s a small place so it’s probably better to get food to go unless you only have a party of 2 or fewer. Seating is indoors only but it’s within walking distance to lots of park benches etc on Laurel street. They’ve got a few car parking places in the back and are laid back enough to let you park a bike inside as long as it’s not blocking any tables. The employees are friendly and pretty quick as long as more than one of them is there. Usually during peak times they staff up to 2 or 3 and the wait time is only 5 minutes or so.

After visiting various sandwich establishments in the area over the past month, I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for Subway. For $ 5 or $ 6 you can get a foot long sandwich just about however you want it. Besides, your typical deli will inevitably give you too much meat and then charge you accordingly. After struggling to figure out which special has the best balance between health-consciousness and flavor, I usually end up picking apart the last third of my sandwich so I don’t end up eating too much bread or meat anyway. I’m usually satisfied with a 6 inch sub which is priced accordingly at Subway. When was the last time you could find a decently prepared deli sandwich for under $ 5? I have no complaints about my friendly neighborhood Subway. There are only about 6 or 7 tables but its always clean and rarely crowded.

Ahh Subway… your $ 5 foot longs are FREAKING awesome! I don’t usually go to Subways in general but today I was a little short on time during my lunch break and happened to be driving by. So I figured, what the heck. Ordered a toasted, sliced black forest ham sandwich on white bread w/all the fixings except jalapenos. That and 1 macadamian cookie came out to be a little over $ 5 bucks. YAY! The guy behind the counter making the sandwich seemed like depressed… but whatever… he didn’t screw up my sandwich so I’m happy! As long as they keep the $ 5 promo up, I’ll definitely be back!

I tell the girl behind the counter, «No mayo, I said honey mustard.» «No you didn’t, you said light mayo.» «No, I said honey mustard.» The manager says, «Don’t argue with the customer!» That’s what I call service! In the past three years that I’ve been eating subway sandwiches, including a span of about a year when I ate subway for lunch every day at work, not once did I order it with light mayo. This is my local Subway. The drive is short, the parking easy. For some reason, even on hot days, it feels like they have the heater on. But I’m usually in and out of there pretty fast. Outdoor seating is a plus.
