Kind of shocked to see all the negative reviews on here considering my experience was great. My mom and dad just moved to a new house this past summer with a great canyon view but the sun really beats down into the living room and their bedroom in the afternoons. Heard my mom complain(shocking right?!) a couple of times about always having to adjust the shades a couple of times a day. So I took it upon myself(being the great son that I am) to look into some motorized shades online and that’s where I found out about the Lutron Caseta shades that you can set on a timer. Called a couple of vendors in the area but had the easiest time speaking with a Candlelight person over the phone. Set up a time for them to come out and check the place out… and they were on time! They came back when the shades were delivered and helped install everything. The shades look great and everything works as described. My mom loves the timer, while my dad loves the remote. Overall the experience was really painless and we got what we were looking for! Love the shades and would definitely recommend.

Unprofessional, money grabbing family business After charging us $ 8K+ for window shades that are defeating the purpose(they let most of the light in and they have a huge gap between panels), we tried to get them to fix it. hothey refused because we signed the order . They come with very smalll samples and no advice of what would accomplish what you need The gap between panels itself should have voided the entire job but they refused to fix anything unless we pay again Do not give them your business!

Worst customer service ever. Sales reps a re not motivated, money collected up front, changes are made that take forever. 6 weeks and our shades have not even arrived at the store. Last week set up appt with Jackie for tomorrow, checked today, and of course they have not arrived. And no record of appointment. Complained to costco 10 days ago, no response. Horrible!

Thanks to the entire team at Candlelight Systems who sold, managed and installed our Lutron motorized shading, draperies and our Lutron RadioRA2 lighting controls for our home. We feel we received excellent service and are so very happy with everything we ordered. Everything from the initial consultation, pre-wire, integration and final installation has been on time. Questions were answered promptly and professionally. The installers and programmers who came out were clean and efficient. We would highly recommend Candlelight Systems to any of our family and friends. Thank you for a job well done.

Great sales team and customer service, I was quoted a fair price for my floor to ceiling window shades and they were installed a couple weeks later! The quality and craftsmanship are excellent, would recommend to anyone looking for high end motorized shades for their home or business.

QUICKREVIEW: If you’re looking for fast, professional service, Candlelight is NOT the place to go! If you have all the time in the world to deal with poor customer service, then by all means, go forth and kick yourself later! FULLREVIEW: We found Candlelight through Costco(they have one of those stands at Costco near the exit) and figured hey, if it’s approved by Costco, it’s got to be pretty good! Boy was I wrong. Our first appointment was SEPTEMBER19th, 2013 and as of November 25th, we aren’t completely through the process. But on to the good(bad) stuff: Initial meeting with designer(Sept 19): Decent, Jeannette Sisola was nice, chatty, and for the most part, easy to work with. At the end of the appointment, we had all of our selections chosen and she said she would send us quotes by the next day or two for us to review and sign off on. At that time she also quoted us 10 days for the order to come in once it was placed, at which time she would schedule our installation. Feeling pretty good at this point! A few days later, we received our quote and after a second appointment with some minor revisions back and forth, decided to move forward and schedule an appointment for her to double check measurements(standard procedure) and for us to sign off on the paperwork. A few days before the appointment, she tells us that a couple of our selections aren’t available anymore and that she’ll bring the available samples around so we can choose from those(ASDFGHJKL) FINE. On October 9, we met with her again and picked the replacement fabrics. It takes her until October 18(!!! It took 9 days to revise a word doc?!) to get us revised quotes, which we sign off via email ASAP. ***Keep in mind that not having shades is kind of a big deal when your house has windows facing the glass shower door. Peep show anyone?*** At this point we’re at a MONTH from our first appointment. No way should the process have taken so long! But fine. Things are moving forward, and we just need to wait the ~10 days for the blinds/shades and then we can schedule installation, right? WRONG. SOVERYWRONG. On October 31, I follow up with Jeannette via email just to see if we’re close to scheduling an installation date. On November 1, she responds saying that last she heard, the warehouse was waiting for a few shades to arrive and that she would provide an update later that day. An entire freaking week later(November 7: I’m really pissed at this point), still no update from her so I send another email to see what the deal is, and she sends a quick email saying she’s on vacation and that I should call the office directly to find out what’s going on. WTF. Seriously? Way to drop the ball. But whatever. I call the office, tell the woman(Jackie) what the deal is, and she apologizes on Jeannette’s behalf and says she’ll call me back later that day & give me an update. Does she call back? NOPE. 3 days pass and nothing. Are you joking? How can one company be SOBAD at following up? I call back after 3 days and get the same vague, I’m-not-sure-what’s-going-on response. After multiple follow up calls to them over the course of a week and a half, which trust me, I’m loathe to make(because why should I have to remind you to DOYOURDAMNJOB), on November 16, we FINALLY get an installation date scheduled. FINALLYYY. *throws confetti in the air* Our installation date(November 20) rolls around(YAY!) and things are looking good, until halfway through the installation, the installers say that they’re MISSINGPIECES. Got. To. Be. Kidding. And now, here I am, writing this review on November 25, with no update from Candlelight about when we’ll get our missing pieces installed. To add insult to injury, they charged my credit card on 10÷25÷13AND charged $ 10.80 over the quoted price, which I know isn’t a lot, but it’s just not a good way to do business.(Hello that’s TWO $ 5 footlongs) There has also been no word on the Costco cash/rebate we’re supposed to receive from them. Will update when everything is done, but the remainder of the installation is going to have to blow my freaking mind for this rating to change from 1 star to anything else. Overall, this company is one HOTMESS. Just don’t do it!
