These headphone are great to throw in in the motorcycle or anything else active. I don’t understand what these other people are bitching about. You get what you pay for, these aren’t audiophile quality headphones but for the price they fit the bill.

Skullcandy brings the action sport scene to San Clem! I walk by Skullcandy often on the way to OCT and enjoying watching the skaters out front popping tricks in front of their wood clad building. Outside of that it is your run of the mill office building with an «extreme» look. As for their products, I have had two pairs of their ear buds now and have moved back to Bose for flying and onto Yurbuds for exercise but their offerings are capable enough and have a decent warranty to give them a look again if the need for new sound arises. Skate or die!

I had a recent issue with a product under warranty. Skullcandy took the liberty to contact me directly and address my issue. There appeared to be an internal problem which has now been addressed. I appreciate that Skullcandy contacted me and took care of my issue. Great Customer Service goes a very long way. Headphones always break and for no real apparent reason. That is why I dont have a problem purchasing Skullcandy headsets since I know Skullcandy will replace them at 100 percent if there is a manufacturer defect… ex. ear suddenly stops working. I have been using Skullcandy headphones for quite a while now and have always been impressed with the way they sound. I will continue to purchase their products :)

I got a pair of these SkullCandy earbuds at Best Buy. Although they are comfortable and have good sound quality, the wires that run from the earbuds to the point where the wires join pick up ambient sound and amplify it to your ears. So if you’re moving at all, even just walking, you hear the rustling of the wires against your clothing amplified into your ears. How can anyone make earbuds and not realize what an obvious problem this is?

Let me preamble this review by saying this is an experience with Skullcandy’s warranty program, which almost completely eclipses its earbud products, of which, when playing by the rules, are easily three, maybe four, stars for the money. 2 years ago, I sent in earbuds that were damaged. Had a so-called RMA number, which meant that sending in the buds for replacement was actually the last step, that it had been pre-approved. At the time, the company was based somewhere in Utah and had a customer service phone number that would never be answered. A month ago, yet another pair went out as they were primarily a pair of workout headphones. had an RMA # for that as well. No response. Nothing sent in return. Certainly, in case I do ever receive something, anything, in correspondence, I will gladly afford more stars to this review. Short of being pick-pocketed by the USPS or getting the send-in address wrong(come on, really?!), I believe this is just one of those mysteries as far as warranty service goes. Is there even a department?

Candy… for your skull. I love these things. I’m on my 2nd pair of Smokin’ Ear Buds and they’re blowing my mind. The noise cancellation and bass these little ear buds can produce is insane. Super loud, clear and clean sound are what these were made for. I take mine with me EVERY time I snowboarding or to the gym. I’ve been raving about these things since I discovered them, and I’ve been trying to get everyone else onboard. All I have to do is let someone use them and they’re an instant believer. Best headphones I’ve ever bought… Period.

Because this is Skullcandy’s Pacific headquarters as well as a small store in the front not a whole lot can be said outside of «rad». The wood façade front, skateboard ramps next to the desks inside the office speak for themselves. It’s nice to have a little piece of action sports opening it’s doors in San Clemente.
