Horrible experience. We were totally jerked around. We were told to be there by a certain time. No one was there. We waited; missed the opportunity to get on the right sized waves after driving all the way from Nor Cal. We texted/​called and texted/​called and finally someone responded with more promises, but then blew us off and left us hanging. We never had a problem with the price. The group seemed very knowledgeable, but the individual who handled our situation was evasive, accusatory and a flake. It is too bad because the kids were really looking forward to learning to surf.

My family of 5 and I had surfing lessons with Matt & Rick @ Surf Skate and Supply in San Clemente. My kids loved the pace, the knowledge, and the safety of having both Matt & Rick in the water with them to start and after 40 minutes the whole family was on the waves! They went out of their way to make us feel at home in the water and even met us afterwards for a beer at the local Pizza Port in San Clemente. We will be back and will book another session with them! I recently rented 4 Stand Up Paddleboards from Surf Skate Supply and was so pleased with my entire experience. When I first contacted the store, I spoke with Matt who was extremely helpful and explained everything. I had never been on a SUP so I was at a complete loss but he walked me through the entire process and was super easy to contact whenever I had a question. He dropped all the equipment off at my hotel and picked it up when we were finished and gave us newbies some great advice and got us all excited about the day. I can’t say it enough, Matt really made our experience great. No need to shop around, trust me, you can’t beat the service and prices at Surf Skate Supply!

If you find yourself in San Clemente and in need of surf or paddle board equipment Matt of surfskatesupply is your man. Reservations were made prior to our arrival and specified equipment was delivered as requested to our vacation rental. Matt stayed in touch and dropped off additional equipment to us throughout our stay and pointed us in the right direction for surf breaks. At the end of our vacation Matt came by and picked up our rental equipment. Matt was prompt, professional and had the best prices for rental surf equipment in San Clemente.

I called in today for a ding repair on my surfboard. I live close to the state beach so they offered to just pick it up at el camino market. Awesome! When they saw the ding they said it was really small and didn’t want to take my money for such a simple repair. I appreciated that a lot since 25 bucks for a small repair may not be worth it. I still got it fixed since the board was fairly new and i suck at repairing things. Great customer service! –NEIL
