Awesome wines here! Random location, it’s a little hidden between buildings and up a short staircase. But once you get in it’s a really warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a cool alpine/ski/lodge theme. We tried several of their wines and learned a lot about them from the owners. Very unique blends. Personal favorite was the Cold Smoke, even brought a bottle home! It was a fun experience and I’ll definitely check in again soon. They do an excellent job channeling their passion of winemaking and skiing into their wines, and making sure you leave happy.

2Plank Vineyards tasting room hosted our company’s Happy Hour on a Friday evening. The tasting room was great — little seating area, pool table, and pretty tasting bar. The wine was fantastic — such a great selection — there was something for everyone! And the owners, David & James, were so wonderful and accommodating! Can’t wait to go back!

I found this tasting room to be definitely a cut above the other San Diego urban wineries. Very nice ambience and the vintners are fun and very generous with their pours. The kind of place you’d definitely want to tell all your friends about and keep going back to. Not to mention, these guys seem to be superstars in creating good wines. All the wines had a story and I found them to be excellent. The type of quality you expect when tasting in actual wine country.

Great place with great service and even better wine! The tasting room isn’t a big place, but it’s well done. They have plenty of bar space, a little seating area and a pool table too. I’ve done the regular tasting here and barrel tasting, both times it was a great experience and great wine. Last time, I couldn’t decide which wines to buy because they were all so good. Can’t wait to go back!

I’m giving 2Plank 5 stars as I don’t remember much other than I truly got loaded off their wine. J/K, I’m totally impressed with their wines. The Zinfandel is by far my favorite. Huge fan if the owners as well, great people. If you find yourself in San Diego, make the stop, try the wines and buy a few bottles. You won’t be disappointed, and you’ll leave with a huge smile. Cheers!

Classy tasting room located in a San Diego business park. Both the owners were there when I visited. They are great people and spent time describing the wines. They even took me for a tour of their barrels and showed me wines that were fermenting before they go in the barrels. I would recommend this urban winery that is producing some excellent award winning wines. Stop by. You won’t regret it. Cheers!

Small tasting room in the heart of a Sorrento Valley business park. Perfect to add to your list when hitting up the breweries in the area. Their hours are a bit short right now as they’re only open Thursday & Friday evenings(good if you work in the area). They also have some good events sometimes on the weekend. A few friends & I went to their opening Labor Day weekend and we got to taste all their current wines and visit the winery itself in the back and even do a barrel tasting. I thought the reds were good. The tasting was $ 10 but they wave the fee if you buy a bottle. The owners are down to earth & love to tell you about their wines. The tasting room is also kid-friendly.
