Welcome to modernity. It’s the inflated dollar. It’s XBox. It’s cars that drive themselves and Internet review sites for things as banal the local 7-Eleven. Yes, I’m reviewing my local convenient store. «Why,» you might ask. We all know what this place is. It’s a damned 7 – 11. They’ve got slurpies. They’ve got pizza. They’ve got candy, soda, and beer. They’ve got disgruntled employees that are underpaid. Exactly what could I possibly say about 7-Eleven that will have any bearing whatsoever on a potential shopper? You forget though my friends. This is a special 7-Eleven. This is Rancho Penasquitos. This is the house of Gumby. Yes, someone in a Gumby outfit tried to rob this 7-Eleven many years ago. Sigh, so sad. Like I said: Welcome to modernity. Grab yourself some Doritos. Happy Snacking –Justin

Love the new management of this store. It’s cleaner and well managed. I love they greet you when you walk in the door. It’s like a small town convenient store where everyone says hi. I love that they actually celebrate family and are closed on Christmas. They put family above profit on Christmas Day! I have more respect and will continue to shop there more because of it.

Super friendly employees no matter what time of day or night I go get my Red Box movie, lottery tickets and/or treats. Store is always clean, I usually do alright on scratchers here too:). Short walk from my house so I love that it is so nice, clean and the employees always greet you with a smile.

I live in the neighborhood and have been shopping there for some time. I’ve noticed since the beginning of the year the store started to go down hill fast. But a few weeks ago I went in to a super clean, we’ll stocked store, with friendly helpful employees, and yes(fresh coffee). All I can say is THANKYOU new owner — who ever you are.

Tucked away in a slightly grimy strip mall, with a dirty store front, this place is a surprise on the inside, clean and well lit. All the shelves are stocked and the staff are kind and helpful, it is a popular spot for late night food and drink run in the PQ area. Prices are bit high, but when your the only place open you really have no choice.

Tucked away on the corner of Carmel Mountain and Paseo Montalban, this 7 – 11 is quite the popular spot for locals. This store provides a convenient pitstop for those last minute items — chips, gum, batteries. What can I say? It’s a 7 – 11. And it’s a good thing that it’s just around the corner.
