Came in here shopping for some camera lenses. The owner/manager seemed more interested in flirting with his coworker than helping me out. And all his camera stuff was old junk stuffed in some little cubby on the side of the showroom. He didn’t even seem interested in wanting to show them to me. When I finally coaxed him into showing me one, the guy told me the beat up old Canon lens was worth $ 1000. I don’t know how this guy stays in business maybe he sells all his stuff on eBay or something I don’t know. He’s like a grumpy old creep hanging out in gaslamp. Stay away.

Was spending my Friday off bargain shopping. I went into Aztec around 11am looking for a guitar and other musical accessories. I saw a Gibson I have been looking for. Firstly, the man at the counter did not acknowledge my presence when I walked in. I asked him about a few items I was looking for and he reluctantly answered my questions. I asked him to see the Gibson and he said«not today, I’m busy.» Fine, don’t take my money. This place sucks.

The service here is completely terrible! The guy who seemingly owns and manages the place took 20 minutes or so to even acknowledge that I was interested in his merchandise and that I needed help. While I was waiting, he was helping no one else and was simply shuffling things around in the shop. When I finally got help, I asked if I can check out some of the old 35 mm SLR cameras he had sitting on the shelves. Upon inspection of the cameras, I found that nearly all of them were broken or suffered some minor mechanical fault yet his prices were set ridiculously(humorously I should say) high! I know enough about vintage 35 mm SLR’s and have a pretty good idea of their market value, however their was no hope in reasonable bargaining with this guy. He seemed really agitated and probably knew that I nor any other person was going to be silly enough to buy sub-par conditioned cameras at premium prices(even exceeding premium prices). When I finally found a camera body that I wanted to buy(one that I have done extensive research on and own myself) I offered generously, 40 bucks. He angrily told me that the camera was priced at $ 100, then he snatched the camera out of my hand and told me to «have a nice day.» This was utterly insulting to me as he assumed that he could rip me off then showed little respect by forcefully snatching the merchandise out of my hands and basically telling me to leave. That place is full of faulty merchandise(cameras at least), with a disrespectful owner, and drug fiends who come in and out desperately pawning things. Stay away! The manager is a complete prick and will insult your intelligence by thinking that he can rip you off!
