AccuQuest Hearing Center

I have always had a good experience with Accuquest Niles until recently. My hearing aids needed to be sent out and I asked several times to have them call me on the status of my aids (how many more days before it gets sent back? Was it mailed back already?) I did not receive a call until they have my aids with them on the day it was delivered to their facility. Thus, it fell on a Friday, I cannot just leave my work to pick it up. Moreover, they close early on Fridays. I was not able to pick up until Monday. Come Monday and to my horror, I came to the facility only to be asked to come back in an hour. There’s got to be something they can do to bring back the old excellent quality service they used to have.

I’m 45 and I’ve been losing my hearing for the past couple of years and I was advised to wear Starkey hearing aids. I hate them! I hate losing my hearing too, but the hearing aids need adjusting from time to time and coming from SF, I needed to find a Audiologist that would help me adapt to wearing the hearing aids and someone who would care enough to take the time to adjust them so I could hear better. The hearing aids were off balance and dirty. Charity’s demeanor is very assuring, very educational and without asking, she gave me another Audiologist test. She adjusted my hearing aids and she firmly encourged me to wear them full time as possible and because I hate them… she gently expressed the reasons and logic behind the necessity of wearing them full time. She gave me options to obtain another pair of hearing aids for less; she gave a web site full of information about hearing loss and strategies on how to communicate to people, given my hearing loss. These strategies were excellent and over the course of an hour, I felt much better about my condition, the seriousness of it and feeling like I had a strong support in her education and background.
