Wonderful, caring staff and excellent clinical results. TMS therapy is still so new that there aren’t many(if any) providers in San Diego willing to constantly revise their treatment protocols to ensure the best possible results. I was skeptical about Transcranial Magnetic Therapy before doing it and there aren’t many doctors in San Diego that have familiarity with using TMS therapy to treat ADHD so I was even more concerned. But the medical staff at Achieve TMS think out of the box and not only practice medicine but conduct clinical research on TMS so they knew exactly what to do and it’s worked. My memory has improved, I’m more calm and focused and my attention is much better than it was before starting treatment.

Strangest set up ever. Dr. Inamdar is the honcho here. While there, they push TMS and have you meet with the coordinator even if you do not wish to do so. They also called several times after my appointment to get me to have TMS. My insurance did not cover it. It is a Monday thru Friday treatment for 6 weeks. The coordinator told me to begin treatment and if insurance does not pay they will give me the cash pay price. There is no way one can afford that. Needless to say I received a few uncomfortable phone calls from the coordinator asking me to have TMS. I saw Dr. Inamdar for prescriptions for my antidepressant. At my first appointment Dr. Inamdar agreed to be my doctor. We shook hands. At this session, I left numerous reports and progress notes from previous doctors. The day before my next appointment her office called and said she could not see me as she will be out of town. They recommended seeing Dr. Densert, I said OK. Then the office called and said she would see me??? I ended up seeing Dr. Densert. Beforehand, I had stated that I would be in need of 90 day prescriptions per Express Scripts request. I was assured that it will be done. At my appointment Dr. Densert would not write them out. She said that I need to be seen monthly($ 40.00 copay each time becomes expensive). God only knows how much they bill the insurance company. I did not appreciate the switching of psychiatrists at the last minute. I did not appreciate the coercion of the coordinator to have this service. I did not appreciate being told my script would be written out for a months supply only. I did not appreciate being told that I have to come monthly to get my script. Seeing that this relationship would not work out, I asked verbally and left voicemails and even wrote the doctor a nice letter requesting my medical records. No response and that was months ago. I would not recommend this office for any services.
