Like the previous reviewer, I also simply gave up after my new(refurbished) television(sent there under factory warranty) disappeared into the black hole that is «Advanced Electronic Service». The staff were unfriendly and gave no credible justification for the repeated delays. After two months, I charged back the set to the company I bought it from(handy feature of buying with a platinum card) and bought a new one with no issues.

These people are horrible. I took my TV in for repair and they said it would take 3 weeks. After the 4th week I called weekly to get updates and only got excuses. I should have checked their BBB rating which is very unfavorable. I never got my TV back. After months of excuses I just gave up. THEYCOMPLETELYSUCK!!!

Advanced Electronic Service did a great job for some warranty work on my Sony TV. The optical block had worn out, and it so happens there was a class action lawsuit against Sony for my particular model of flatscreen, so good for me: «Hey Sony, not my problem, you fix it!» Even though Sony was picking up the tab, these folks from AES were very helpful, ordered the part, showed up on time, and provided great service.
