How does a quesadilla that’s 3 dollars an order on carne Asada nachos that’s 7 bucks and some change and a can of soda cost me 16 plus dollars??? What a scam why does your menu show one price and then you charge whatever you want not to mention no receipt was provided. That’s shady.

Karen is life, best customer service ever on the whole western coast, if alien life came to earth and wondered what customer service was, they would search up Karen and find out exactly what it is.

Well, it started out pretty good, but then I found a rock in my breakfast burrito. Not even kidding you, I was taking a bite out of my burrito started chewing and I felt something hard. It didn’t feel like burnt eggs, beans, or ham so I play around to try and get it out of my mouth and I see this little black and gray thing. I clean it just to find out it was a rock! I call the shop let them know what happened and they say oh must have gotten in with the beans. They go through the whole spiel of did you get hurt and what not and then ask in a very annoyed voice what I want them to do about it at this point I’m just done and say nothing just check your beans next time. Last time I’m going there.

I came here 1 time to eat and it was terrible, the Carne Asada Fries arent good like other taco shops, the charge you extra for sour cream, and sprinkled cheese unlike others I’ve gone too they dont charge you extra and the guacamole is terrible. It taste like if it was sitting in the fridge for a week. Doesnt taste fresh. I’m never coming here again.

Come for the convenience… leave because you are going to spend the rest of your day near the bathroom. Its really close to my house so that’s convenient. But the quality of the food kind of outweighs how close it is. I’ve often thought going to the Jack in the Box next door is a healthier decision… Nuff said.

It is 24hrs, the food comes out quick in all the times I’ve bee there, the drive thru is convenient, the only downside is that when the drive thru is full, you’re stuck on the Main Street blocking traffic.

The special #1 is my new favorite! Less than $ 5 for a taco, bean tostada, and 2 rolled tacos. The rolled tacos have very little filling though.

I have been visiting this place probably once a month for the last few years. The food is consistent. It hasn’t changed much over the last 10 years. Their carne asada and pollo asado fries are very tasty and come with boh guacamole and crema. Their rolled tacos have a good amount of flavor and I love them with guacamole and cheese. My husband thinks their beef chimichanga is one of the best in town. It is served with guacamole, lettuce, and crema on the side. Beware their bean burritos do not come with cheese. If you say a bean and cheese burrito they will charge you for the cheese. They only offer red hot sauce but it is pretty good and they charge 50 cents to use a card to pay. Also the frive thru is kind of awkward. Make sure you pull in from the front of the restaurant. You frive up to the window, order, and drive thru to the other side of the restaurants where you pay and get your food. Overall it’s not a bad place to get your taco shop fix.

Just moved to the area and didn’t know where to get a burrito. It was late, starving and on my way home. Usually, the little tacoshop shacks with red and yellow are great. This wasn’t The drive thru was full so I just got off and got in line to order, only one customer infront of me and there was atleast 5 workers. Took them 3 min to get to the window and get her order then they took 2 min to get her change. Total 5minutes to take an order. He took 3 minutes with me which was stupid. I literally waited 7minutes for a godamn Burrito. 20minutes total for a burrito. The tortilla was a lil burned, so it tasted alright and jt was a bit crunchy. The guacamole had little flavor. The meat tasted ok but it was juicy. Which I like in burrito. That«juicy» carne asada is what got this place that star. Horrible customer service, ridiculous wait time, and bad food.

Food is whatever, and the lady is the worst and overcharges you and denies it. Double check your receipts. Shady place does great to perpetuate stereotypes. Stingy with sauce.

I don’t care what anyone says. Hands down, the best taco shop in the City Heights area! I usually order a #2, 2 beef tacos with all rice no beans. I love how the rolled tacos are so crispy even when you get home! Not soggy like the other places. I miss the lady with the gold teeth who use to take my orders. So fast & convenient as well. The drive thru is a little hard to get too when it’s busy since the taco shop sits right on the corner but def. Worth it :)

Cheaper and better than the other drive through taco shop about a half mile west on university. Their burritos include cilantro and chopped onions which you don’t always get at other cheap taco shops. Makes a big difference imo. The friendly staff 24\7 is a bonus also.

This isn’t the best taco shop in the area but if you’re just looking for a quick fix, it’ll get the job done. Don’t expect huge portions. It’s cheap but you get what you pay for. And all the standards you’d expect for inside a burrito cost extra. If quick and simple is all you want, then go for it. But I suggest you go to the other numerous spots in the 2 mile radius if you’re looking for something that’ll actually hit the spot!

I have been going to Aibertos for years. I started going to it for a nighttime meal when I lived in university heights about 10 years ago. Now that I live in Florida it is usually one of my first stops after I land. The carne Assad fries are always great. The guacamole is fantastic and everything usually tastes pretty fresh. It is one of my favorite taco shops in SD.

The only reason I came to this place was because I was in the neighborhood after a friends birthday party. It was about midnight and when I come to a taco shop that I haven’t tried out I always a carne asada burrito. When it comes to rating taco shops in SD, I usually rate by how well they make their carne asada burrito because that is usually what most people order. I went through the drive-thru order process was smooth and it was about $ 5.75 for a burrito. Surprisingly since most taco shops have raised a dollar more for a burrito. I was impressed with the burrito and portion given. The meat was seasoned ok, a little dry but the more i ate the more it got better. The guacamole in the burrito was pretty good. and the burrito had more meat than pico de gallo. The reason why this place was only rated a 3 because of their watered down hot sauce. Most taco shops their hot sauce has a smooth consistency. but this place their hot sauce was very transparent and literally tasted like watered down hot sauce. I would definitely come back to try other items and for their price.

Since when do people have to start asking for cheese on their Carne asada burrito? Cheese is considered an extra add on? No its an ingredient on most Mexican burritos! Price was $ 5.05 on menu, when I asked for gauc and sour, it came to $ 6.15… fine, but where’s the f*kn cheeeeeeeese??? I’ve been here a few times over the years, only bc they are close and open 24⁄7 but I hate it. I remembered their rolled tacos, toppings seriously only had gauc and sour, no cheese or lettuce. Their Carne asada fries is just the worst combination of main ingredients: not enough cheese, too much meat, just boring and like ur eating something DEAD. And the meat, EGH! The color is hideous, doesn’t look fresh, just gross. It’s right off the 15 freeway, and I just don’t understand the long lines I sometimes see from here…

Wow, all I can say is bad customer service. Learn how to train your employees right. I was the only customer here and it took a while for the worker to take my order. I mean, we exchanged look for a good 40 secs. I bought carne asada fries and asked for a tortilla wrapper. And she had the nerve to say that they don’t have any. Then how the hell do you make a burrito!!! –_-. She was already getting on my nerve. Then at the end I asked if I can get 3 more red hot sauce. And she told me that she put 3 in the bag already. And your point is!!! I asked for 3 more so give me 3 more. I’m paying for it, not you. And she had the audacity to tell me here’s 2 more. Do you not know how to count?! I said 3, not 2. If you don’t like your job then quit. It’s probably a family owned business. If it wasn’t she would be fired in a instant.

Even though this spot is literally one minute from where I live, i’d rather drive the extra two or three miles to the next taco shop than come here(which I’ve done on numerous occasions). The drive through is terribly confusing and the accessibility is difficult; poor set up, if you miss the first window/menu you can’t order at the next one and have to go all the way around again. The people working the windows are very unfriendly and make you feel stupid with any questions you have or requests you make. The meat is too fatty and dry all at the same time, greasy tortillas, Pico de gallo and guacamole isn’t fresh, and the list goes on. Overall, the food is BLAND, BLAND, BLAND. Shame on them, but shame on me even more for going back again and again. I’ve given this place more than a few tries and it’s just been worse and worse every time. No more chances. Bleeeeccchhhh.
