I have bamboo floors in my loft that were not in good shape from wear and tear. I researched online and contacted All American Hardwoods due to their experience with bamboo floors. I met with Andrew and got to see his extensive portfolio of before and after pictures. I like the fact that as proprietor he works on the job himself. I was still a little uneasy since I knew that reengineered hardwood floors aren’t really designed to be refinished (or so I thought) like real hardwood. Andrew was very knowledgeable and forthright with what he can do to my floors that I trusted he had the experience and knew what he was doing. He and his partner Owen even worked through the holidays and weekends to accommodate my schedule. Needless to say, I am very happy with the results! My floors look like new again! Andrew is meticulous and a perfectionist. He made sure everything was to my satisfaction and he stood by his word. I highly recommend him and would be glad to be a reference for him if anyone needs one.

Absolutely amazing job. Andrew showed up when I wasn’t even there and did this all perfectly, quickly and with photos and texts letting me know what he was doing. I cannot recommend his company enough. I will be using him again. He had to do an enormous bamboo floor, and it is seamless. Completely beautiful. And he did it on time, communicating with me remotely, and he required no prompting for info. I am extremely happy with Andrew, his company, and my floor.

All American Hardwoods just completed refinishing our hardwood flooring in our living room, dining room and laundry room. Due to wear and tear the floors were really horrible but All American Hardwoods did an amazing job refinishing them and they look new. Also Andrew explained each process and was very knowledgeable about how to keep our floors in top shape. He had fair prices, worked efficiently and gave us adequate instructions for how long to keep our new born away due to the chemicals involved. Andrew refinished our entire downstairs walnut floor and it looks better than the original did when it was installed fourteen years ago. He explained each stage of the process and offered several approaches to bringing out the natural beauty of the wood. Highly recommended.

All American Hardwoods just completed the refinishing of our maple floors on the entire first floor of our home, and the results are incredible. The floor, which was in terrible shape, now looks brand new — pristine. They were the low bidder among four contractors we interviewed, and they were available with a couple weeks notice; so I was a little worried, but we got a phenomenal outcome at a bargain price. Andy is a perfectionist, treating the finishing of the floors as though it’s a work of art. He was extremely careful, attentive to detail, and kept tweaking the finish until it was perfect. He was completely trustworthy in our home and very communicative, calling at least twice each day to give us updates as to where the project stood and what our instructions were about walking on the floors. He does big commercial jobs as well and invited us to visit his worksites to see his team in action, to help us get comfortable with his work product. I’m congratulating myself that we secured an absolute first-​rate outcome at a significant discount to other refinishers we considered. Feel free to ask Andy to see his before-​and-​after book.
