All Souls’ Saint Nicholas Home Tour

I put my home in the tour last year. The docents did a great job of directing the over 600 persons who came through my home. And while I needed to be away from my home for the tour I visited the other homes on the tour. Each home was very special and unique. I plan on being a «tourist» this year and supporting All Souls Church.

Ladies, today is the All Souls’ Home Tour. It is fantabulous — I see you sneaking a yawn behind your perfectly manicured hand. This is the real deal– tour Pt. Loma homes which showcase incredible decorating. Then stop and listen to Christmas carols and munch on cheerful Christmas cookies. They also have a marketplace where all those blue haired church ladies sell home made fudge, cookies and cakes, Jams too ! They have had homes with circular dome ceiling where you can hear whatever anyone is talking about in the dining room– in the upstairs bedroom. A cliff dwelling home with views on every level of the house– plus a pool with a cabana with a view of the downtown lights. Bring your mum, bring your appetite but just go. It is only today from 10 – 4 with tickets $ 30 at the door. Don’t gnash those pearly white all proceeds benefit the church’s mission– so do good and profit from a day of slummin’ in a good neighborhood!
