Anderson-Ragsdale Mortuary

Working with Kevin and the rest of the staff at Anderson-​Ragsdale was a pleasure! Everyone was knowledgeable and knew their stuff which really helped simplify the funeral planning process for my family and I. We held our service at the chapel on Miramar base and the burial at Miramar National Cemetery and it was a breeze being that Kevin was familiar with their process. Everything was done very timely and on top of business being handled properly, the staff was extremely personable; they made us feel like we knew them for years. We had not one problem during the whole process and not one complaint. The only critique I’d make is there are a few things that can be updated, but nothing can take away from the pleasure I had doing business here. I’m very happy that my family and I didn’t have to deal with more stress on top of losing a loved one. R.I.P. dad.

If I could I would give it zero stars. Do not use this establishment if you can avoid it. They were facilitating delivery of death certificates for my family and lied about sending them out to my family. No apology. It’s awful enough to deal with the passing of a loved one but then to be lied to, especially when the death certificate is required to process life insurance?! No ethics and no compassion in such a rough situation. Shame on them!

I came for a funeral today. This place is very clean and in tact. Their foilage there is amazing! The inside is in need for a serious upgrade. It is still really nice so please do not get this wrong. It is very dark inside and I am sure at one time that this was ok. We do not want dreary and death overshadowing a funeral anymore. Well at least I do not. The venue was decent
