Anoosha Ghodsi-shirazi, M.D.

I had one appointment with Dr Ghodsi and that was more than enough. She did not listen to a word i had to say and had made up her decision about my diagnosis before she even entered the room and met me. She had my chief complaint completely wrong, assuming i was there for bleeding during sex (which was only a small portion of my issues). I left feeling very disheartened. She had looked me straight in the eye and told me I did not have the signs and symptoms of endometriosis, when in fact, I had ALL of the main symptoms. I promptly found a new doctor and just had surgery 2 days ago, where they excised 4 spots of adhesions and endometriosis. Thankful I switched doctors and would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone who wants to be listened to or have their pain relieved. She does not seem to understand the severity of pain or any of the symptoms that go along with endometriosis, a disease that is affecting a lot of women currently.
