Antwiwaa Hair Braiding

I get my hair braided into long colorful extensions for festivals. After a horrible experience with another lady who wouldnt even fit me in to fix her botched job, I was desperate and out of time. Grace was referred to me by a lady at the beauty supply. She met me that day on her lunch break and my hair ended up looking fabulous for the event. I’ve gone to her for 3 years now and never been disappointed. Her technique is solid. My braids don’t slip, they lay perfectly whether my hair is up or down, and I get compliments all the time. Grace is a pleasure to visit with and her gentle personality makes the time go by painlessly. I’d recommend her to anyone.

Grace Howard ie Antwiwaa Hair Braiding may SEEM like a nice person but do yourself a favor and DO NOT go to her for your weaves. 2 weeks ago I went to Grace/​Antwiwaa Hair Braiding for a full head weave with a closure piece. I brought with me 4 bags of Human Hair Brazilian Body Wave (3 bags at 18 inch & 1 bags at 16 inch). I bought such a great amount of hair with me because I wanted to have 16 in put around my crown so it could be trimmed into bangs. I began to get worried when Grace kept sewing tracks into my hair even after I explained that I thought 2 ½ bags of the 18 inch was full enough. My concern turned to panic when it came time to do my closure piece (invisible part). Any hair dresser familiar and well versed with doing weaves should be comfortable with a closure piece. After 6.5 hours in her chair I went home with my hair too full (all 4 bags of hair were sewn in) and it wasn’t until I got home that I realized that she didn’t even attach the closure piece fully. My braids were so far back from my hair line that 2 weeks later it looks like I have had this weave in for a month and a half and some of my tracks are even getting lose (already). Grace did a HORRIBLE job. I would NEVER return to her… even if I was desperate. Her skill level is not deserving of the $ 150+ that she likes to charge. Furthermore I reached out to her to see if she would be willing to re-​do any of it or at least properly attach the closure piece but I never received a response from her. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND HEADACHE AND DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT LET ANTWIWAA HAIR BRAIDING/​GRACE HOWARD DO YOUR WEAVES. It would probably come out better if you did it yourself.
