I have been blessed to experience Art By Adelaide in many forms. I have 2 of Adelaide’s original paintings in my home. They add so much life, vibrancy and color to my sanctuary… I just love them! I have also experienced Adelaide’s multiple performance arts, and no matter what she takes on, she is passionate and extraordinary. She never ceases to captivate with her alluring performances and striking arts. She is also a great teacher! Patient, kind and fun! Her depth of heart and character are highlighted in each and every way she expresses herself, and I consider myself blessed to bear witness!

Love Love Love Adelaide’s belly dance classes!!! She is a wonderful instructor. She takes her time with each student offering suggestions and/​or corrections to get your technique just right. If you’ve been thinking about trying a class, don’t be overwhelmed by trying something new, she will walk you through it step by step. She makes belly dancing approachable and a lot of fun!
Also her artwork is amazing! Colorful, expressive, vibrant with a distinct style that is uniquely her own. If you are in the market for new artwork you must see her paintings!

I love dance classes with Adelaide! Been going for a few years now and every time I get something different out of the experience. Just being in the studio moving to great music or dancing under the trees in the outdoor space in the warmer months is my escape. She is a great teacher and an inspiring dancer.

My walls inside and out are covered in Adelaide’s beautiful artwork. She and her sister belly dance and put on amazing performances that draw you into their magical world. Adelaide puts so much energy into inspiring creativity and connecting to those around her. Adelaide is such an inspiration! I first saw her perform at a burlesque show in 2013 and fell in love with her artwork the same night. I love watching her perform, she puts so much effort into her routines. Her paintings are so unique and full of passion. I have five small ones in my apartment and would have more if I had the wall space! I also have taken belly dance classes with her and they are such a wonderful experience! There is something special about being near the beach and in her beautifully decorated backyard/​home filled with her artwork taking belly dance lessons. I always leave feeling grounded and more confident than I came, plus I have a good sore in my abs the next day.

I wish I had more money, just so I could cover my walls with Art by Adelaide! I love her style, amazing geometric pieces with incredibly stunning color, vivid imagery; and beautiful and serene themes.
Her performance art is equally as stunning; she is truly one of the best in the region!!! Also travels with Danyavaad & The Shimmy Sisters who bring a wonderful show.
A feast for the senses is Adelaide!

I definitely recommend Adelaide’s belly dance class. Every class has variety and has been new and fresh, even after 9yrs. of belly dance with Adelaide. I have a great time and consistently learn something new on one level or another. It’s also neat that to apply foundational techniques to everyday situations, like standing, walking, and working out.
Belly dance has made my life for the better in so many ways because I use it everyday. I can never thank Adelaide enough for bringing such happiness, positivity, and instilling an endless creative energy within me. May health and happiness find those who choose to follow it’s path:)

I’ve known Adelaide for many years, ever since I saw her dancing at a belly dance show in San Bernardino (Shimmy Sisters). She is fantastic, talented and beautiful. I’ve purchased four original paintings from Adelaide, two of which were commissioned just for me, and I’ve displayed them with pride on my walls. I remember one Christmas eve I was alone and I got a phone call from Adelaide. The commission was ready, and she’d be honored if I met her at her parents home to pick it up. So on Christmas Eve I drove forty miles and had dinner with the Shimmy Sisters and their family. Adelaide wrote a poem as to what the painting meant, bringing tears to my eyes. Adelaide is a phenomenal dancer, an incredible artist and a downright awesome lady.

I first met Adelaide at and art show in down town San Diego. She had some of her beautiful paintings for sale on display and I was introduced to her skills as a performance artist as well. Later I hired her to model for one of my photography projects featuring flow artists with studio photography lighting. I had photographed flow artists with LED before, and Adelaide was my first fire model. She completely exceeded all of my expectations. I was so impressed by her professionalism, creativity, presence in front of the camera, expressiveness in her dance form and excellent control of her fire props. Adelaide is now one of my favorite models and has helped me add some beautiful and innovative portraits for my portfolio. I am so glad to have worked with her.

Adelaide creates art with a feminine spirit that will make your house a peaceful and beautiful place. She is quite the entrepreneur and has several different products (phone cases etc) — so there is something for every price range! The pieces I buy have Buddhas on them — but she has all kinds of colorful influences to share. Support your local artist and get good karma!

Adelaide of Art By Adelaide and the Shimmy Sisters has inspired me for years! I found her on youtube when I lived on the east coast and then connected with her upon moving to San Diego California. Since living here, I have taken her classes, purchased many art pieces, and collaborate on events. And I can honestly say I have never been anything but absolutely pleased and enchanted by this amazing young woman! She is hard-​working professional, and just as sweet as can be. She has a lot of talent to offer this world, not only through her performance art but also through her visual art. Her inspirations will be memorable. She sure knows how to dance and is sure to be a party pleaser no matter what the event! Highly recommend Miss Adelaide.
