This is a great little art«walk» full of local artists with various talents. I so should have taken pics! Arrrgh. Sorry Unilocalers. You’ll find large and small prints, scenic, abstract, photography, sculptures of glass, metal, wire, you name it. This was the first year I’ve attended and I really enjoyed myself. If you forgot your dinero or don’t have enough at hand because you’ve stumbled upon a gem here at the walk, they’ve thought of that and placed an ATM machine smack dab in the center! Use at your own risk… Grab your typical festival eats at a few booths. Eat as you walk or enjoy in the designated seating areas near the live band. Oh… and there’s space for you to groove too. Go ahead and bust a move… show ‘em what you’re workin with! There’s an area for the kiddies to do some artwork which I understand will later be exhibited collectively as a mass mural type of thing in a San Diego community. Just a beautiful way to connect us. Liberty Station itself has developed quite nicely over the past few years. I enjoy myself every time I visit. Feel free to bring your four-legged domesticated friend that barks. Nobody minds. There’s a lot of space to walk and lolly gag in this community. Check out the nearby restaurants if you don’t fancy the eats here. Be free! The event is free and so is the parking, and there’s plenty of it.

Went to check out the art yesterday and get out in the fresh air. A great venue to have this event at. Lot of varies art to see, all very nice and engaging artists to talk to. Plenty of parking lots around the event to park, and a sprinkle of bars and restaurants(solare) to go to for some libations. Music was playing, the sun was shining and they even had a small food court with some variety. Very family friendly event.

Went for the first time to see a friend who was exhibiting her amazing pieces. Check out her blog/work at Brought 2 kids and friends — randomly ran into 4 other families with kids we knew also. We all agreed it was great! Very reasonably priced $ 125 limited edition framed photographic prints, all the way up to extravagant $ 7000 wax drop mosaic art. Lots of silver semi-precious jewelry. Beautiful location, breezy, lots of trees with shade to camp with your lunch. My other favorite artists were Bennett Art and Eyeball Photography. 4 food vendors — Hawaiian BBQ, The Taste of Maine(lobster rolls and bisque), Smoothies and Coffee, Stone Brewery(Pretzels and mac-n-cheese croquettes). The lobster rolls were $ 14 but worth every damn penny!!! They ran out on the second day by 12:30PM. Thank God that was after we had ours! Ridiculously delicious dill sauce and massive amounts of lobster on a buttery toasted«roll”-the crust was shaved off the sides, so it was more like 2 thick slabs of garlic bread. YUM! Also, for the kids– a Cirque-du-Soleil-style children’s performance every 2 hours — with aerial ring dancing and a magic show; craft stations to draw/color and make kites etc with construction paper. Total of between 100 – 200 artists featured– small enough that my 4 and 6 y. o survived without a single tantrum.

Cool little arts fair in beautiful Point Loma. Came here today to check out some local artistry and have lunch with some friends and family. The artwork here was pretty interesting– a lot more variety and creativity than I remember seeing at the Mission Fed Artwalk in Little Italy. Perhaps this one draws a different crowd? I really enjoyed some of the photographic pieces that were combined with other media– very creative and pleasing to the eye. Just the right size fair to see a lot of interesting pieces, but not so big that you feel overwhelmed or tired after going through all the booths. There weren’t many options available for lunch surprisingly, and apparently the delicious lobster rolls sold out before I got there, but the Hawaiian food stand was pretty tasty. Lots of little areas of shade to sit and relax, and several performances to entertain the kids if you have them. A great way to spend an afternoon, conveniently located at Liberty Station. Plenty of parking available. I hope the lobster rolls come back next year! :)

If you ever wanted to go to a place where many of our local and visiting artist display their beautiful works of arts, well this art walk certainly has what you are looking for. Located in the heart of Liberty Station, the venue provided plenty of parking, plenty of space for that elbow room, entertainment, and eats.( ) The Navy also had a big band playing traditional favorites throughout the morning.( ) Available for viewing and purchasing were a variety of art prints, impressions, sculptures, and many more that I could not even keep up, because my right side of my brain was on overload, and my left was just trying to make sense of what it was viewing.( ) Beautiful pieces of work in deed. The walk also had some artisans that specialized in jewelery with some very unique items available for sale.( ) So, if you just want to browse and enjoy the works, or look for that perfect piece of art to fill up that special place in your home, this art walk has a lot to offer; including food and entertainment.
