I just sold my condo in downtown San Diego in 6 weeks. I am confident the staging done by Astoria West was an important factor in the sale. We recently had Astoria West stage our home for sale.
We interviewed several staging companies, some were far too expensive (and totally didn’t understand our house), some were spot on and inexpensive but maybe too left-​wing for the mainstream market, and Astoria West came in at the sweet spot where they were not the cheapest, not the most expensive, and had a broad yet sophisticated appeal. It didn’t hurt that Richard Turner, who promoted and presented the contract, was great to work with and talk to.
It was a bit unusual because we continued to live in the home, but really didn’t want to have to purchase for and furnish 4000sf of house only to have to put it in storage, but Astoria West worked with us. They even specially bought a few pieces of «kid art», which was sweet, and appreciated. Their movers were also very good and careful not to ding up the house.
So bottom line, do their designs sell? Our house was very well-​appointed and unique and I think would have sold, BUT I firmly believe that their staging helped bring in a higher price and faster than it otherwise would have been.
