Why have only one store and in all places ghetto town? To be precise, 43rd and University. So I call the guy that works there and he’s like«what? Uuuugh I don’t understand. What’s the question your asking. Are you speaking to me or to one of the water bottles, duh?» To you idiot! All I wanted to know was if they had water machines in the South Bay area. If this water is so good, there should be more locations through out San Diego. All we have here is Glacier, and as everybody knows, it sucks! Two stars for being stupid business people!

I have been in a few times to buy water bottles only. Once I was looking specifically for distilled water for my sinus rinse, and they told me their water was distilled. Upon further research, I think that is highly unlikely and could have been deadly for me to use in my nose. Also, I don’t prefer to buy drinking water here as there is another water station 3 blocks north that is 30% cheaper($.25/gal rather than .35/gal). If you ask them why, they will explain their advanced filtration process etc etc, but you will have a hard time understanding them if you don’t speak their language/understand their accent. Anyways, I buy all my water bottles here.

I drive here once a week to fill my three containers. Avian has the best water in town. I get a pork bahn mi, a glass of Kumquat juice or pennywort and revel in the complete goodness of life… for less than $ 10. Sometimes I buy a sugar free soft serve. I am so glad that I bought that first container. Right now I’m making coffee with their water. I threw out the Britta filters. They aren’t good enough anymore. I like their bahn mi even better than the pork bahn mi of Cali Baguette. However, sometimes I fill up the water containers and sneak off for a shrimp bahn mi with extra shrimp at Cali.

The bottled water here is so good and so inexpensive, you’ll kick yourself for paying whatever you used to for Knoxage, Sparkletts, Pure-Flo, Arrowhead, etc… I used to pay over $ 8.00/bottle to have bottled water delivered. Now after going to Avian, I pay less than a quarter of what I used to. Now I do have to bring the empty bottles to/from the water store but its worth it. I fill 7 – 8 bottles at a time! The water quality is outstanding! They have a water contaminant device and you can check your own bottled water against theirs and will be surprised what you are paying for is water of terrible quality. If you need assistance, they’ll even cart the filled bottles and help you load them into your vehicle afterwards. The customer service is among the nicest you’ll find anywhere. I guarantee you’ll be satisfied with the water if you try ‘em out!
