Avon Moving and Storage

This Unilocal review is for my cousin who just moved from San Diego to LA. She doesn’t Unilocal,but said she was impressed with this company’s customer service and wanted me to review Avon Moving for her. :P
My cousin recently got a job in LA and was scheduled to start in a week. Her company was cool enough to help her find an apartment close to work, and instead of sleeping in an apartment with nothing and moving the stuff in later, she wanted to move ASAP so she could get settled in before she had to start work.
Turns out that was easier said than done. All of the moving companies she called couldn’t do the move in such short notice… that is, until she called Avon! She explain her predicament to the rep. He said they were booked solid and were out of trucks since it was the end of the month, but he told her he’d call back to see what he could do. After 10 minutes, he called and said he was able to pull some strings to get an extra truck for her. Nice!
On the day of the move, two movers showed up. Both of them were squeaky clean cut looking, really nice and professional.
The whole move was efficient and pretty cheap.
