Everybody loves better buzz, we know this.. But this location is slow. The girl in the drive thru decided that it would be a good time to go and research a solution for the guy in front of me, for his worn out points card. Really? In the drive through.. When I eventually get up there for my order, my iced coffee is already watered down. She never mentioned «sorry for the delay or anything», just took my cash.. Never told me the total, just handed me my change. (I’m not some old person being crabby either) I just expect decent service considering the cost of a cup of coffee nowadays!

I’m in love with everything about this place. I absolutely adore how the workers, no matter what day are so nice, polite & patient. They don’t rush through your order, they always add hints or tips. This place is always happy & clean. Thank you Better Buzz for rocking so hard

It’s more of a 4.5 star rating. The first time I tried Better Buzzed best drink ever, I was like ehh too sweet for me but then I started asking for half sugar and it was amazing! My only complaint is that the last time I went, it tasted watered down when I asked for half sugar. So some quality control needed. Also, it is on the pricer side for coffee but for the taste, it’s worth it.

This place is AWESOME! The people are very sweet, and work very quickly. The coffee is a little bit on the sweet side, so I ordered a vanilla bean latte with an add shot to balance it out. I will definitely come back again!

ICED BEST DRINK EVER… IS EXACTLY THAT! THE BEST DRINK EVER!
Forget about Starbucks, Im DONE with them, they are not consistent, their drinks ALWAYS taste different. Here on the other hand, ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!! Love the girls here, they’re all very nice and welcoming, just wish they where open till late or had another location down south, But it’s worth the drive up LOVE IT!!!

Oh Better Buzz, I just love you. Simply because you know the way to this coffee lover’s heart. Your honey latte with almond milk just makes my soul sing. And who could forget the massive acai bowls with granola and fresh fruits piled high. Grab a hot cup of their strong joe and post up on the patio to enjoy the fabulous San Diego weather. This is a perfect location too right by the laid back & beautiful Point Loma marina and lots of hotels and shops. The baristas were so sweet, friendly and patient since I basically wanted to order everything on the menu. Definitely check out their different types of roasts, cold brew coffee, breakfast sandwiches as well as healthy options. I’m sure you will love it just as much as I did. Now we have to work on bringing Better Buzz to Texas!

I wish I lived in the area so I could drink Better Buzz all the time. On our 5 day trip to San Diego, we stopped at Better Buzz twice. We would have stopped there more often if we found it sooner!
I tried the vanilla bean latte and it was incredible and not too sweet, like most other lattes in various cafes I’ve been to. I also tried the honey latte, which was ok and didn’t taste mind blowingly amazing but still solid. My boyfriend got the mint mocha blend and the Moroccan. He particularly loved the Moroccan and said it was like a chai latte but way better.
I also tried the turkey pesto sandwich. It was SO GOOD. It was only $ 6.50. Totally worth it and wish Better Buzz could expand everywhere so that I would never have to go to Starbucks again for a coffee or sandwich.

I used to go here all the time before The Westbean opened up in the Liberty Public Market. I was a best drink fan until I tried Westbean’s salted caramel. I think Better Buzz needs to give up the name.
Anyway, I like this place, have a black card, used to be the foursquare mayor. However, they really need to move somewhere that has more parking. Their drive through is tiny and lazy people who don’t want to walk a block end up blocking Hugo/​N. Harbor w/​no F’s given. It’s rude and unsafe. Complete turn-​off. Better Buzz needs to move to a better location with more parking and stop inconveniencing all the locals with the traffic mess.

Best coffee chain in San Diego!
I am obsessed with their mint mocha and get cravings for it all the time!
Service is great, drinks come out quickly and are made perfectly.
Ever since I tried the blended mint mocha the first time, I can’t help but order the same thing every single time.
My husband has tried several of their iced, hot and blended drinks and they have all been good, but the mocha is just out of this world and worth going out of our way for!
This is the one place I seek out every time I am in the area, I sure hope they place to expand to OC and LA soon!

I do enjoy going here. I like supporting a small local business. And the coffee and food is generally great… BUT, they struggle to ever get your order right. I can almost guarantee that if you ask for anything out of their norm, the order will come out wrong. We still enjoy going, I simply adjust my expectations to assume my order will be close to correct, but not exactly
Here today, and I asked a group standing waiting for their order, what went wrong. I had noticed they ordered way before me and we’re still waiting for something long after me. They said one of their orders was just forgotten altogether. Mine of course was wrong, but I expected that so just took it anyway. Seriously, if they can just be right 80% of the time it would be awesome.

Yum. Fun little local coffee shop. Has a drive through for the early morning rush (which causes a traffic jam in the small street).
For the true experience, however, come inside and enjoy your buzz. Nice staff. Fun atmosphere. Oh, and the Macchiatto ain’t bad either. Good, in fact.

This Better Buzz has to be the worst out of all of them I have been to!!! SAVE UR TIME & MONEY & SKIP THIS PLACE !!!
We use to go All the time until the last 6 no joke 6 times our coffees were either cold when we ordered hot, forgot our shots, forget to put coffee at all in our drinks, milk is burnt, Or drinks are wrong all together !
Super frustrating when u pay for all the extras and it’s always wrong! Especially when u have to wait in a long line in the drive through in the 1st place and don’t have time to go back when u have big orders… I literally had the «manager» tell me that the almond Milk there «Just tastes like Cardboard» & it is what it is… WOW!
We’re locals too & black card members, so I was disappointed :/​
Take the trip into Mission Beach, which BTW is Amazing every time.

Life is better buzzed!
I was very impressed with this cute little coffee shop. They have a drive thru and plenty of seating inside. They serve great coffee blends, smoothies, pastries, bowls, oatmeal, and sandwiches. They also sell shirts and coffee items for you take home with you.
I ordered the hazelnut delight latte w/​coconut milk, and a almond croissant. My friend ordered the mango smoothie, and my wife ordered the strawberry banana smoothie. I tasted both smoothies and loved the mango smoothie more than the strawberry banana. The mango smoothie was creamy and tasted like I was eating an actual mango. Very rich and delicious. The almond croissant was a little too crispy for me, but I enjoyed it. As for my hazelnut delight, omg, it was sooooo good. It had a sweet creamy flavor, and brought out the coffee. The service was friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. I will definitely be returning. Next time to try their best drink ever.

Outstanding all around coffeehouse.
It’s a small space but someone put a lot of thought and effort into the décor and furnishings. The result is terrific. It’s comfortable and very attractive.
Everything we tried was great from the OG acai bowl (easily big enough for two to share), the very filling turkey pesto sandwich, and the iced Best Drink Ever. Yes, the drink is on the sweet side but it really was a treat.
This place does just about everything right. Not cheap but this is real quality.

When I know a place is popular and I have never been there before, I usually ask what they are known for and I order it.
I wasn’t disappointed in this case.
The server at the drive-​thru window was upbeat, helpful and informative. I appreciate that she told me that the drink can be on the sweet side and offered to cut the sugar or add more coffee. I opted for cutting the sugar. This drink was VERY good and for a small it was HUGE! :)
I will be back.
BOTTOM LINE: Quick, convenient drive-​thru; really nice and friendly service; great coffee drink that doesn’t mislead «Best Drink Ever»

This coffee place is so good. I wish they were up in the Ventura county area. They have very friendly staff who engage you and seem to genuinely enjoy being at work. The latte both hot and iced are leaps and bounds above other coffee places. The whole vibe of the place is very happy

Let me just start this off by saying I tried Better Buzz for the first time yesterday and loved it soooo much that I had my friend take me back today right before my flight home.
I had the Best Drink Ever with snickerdoodle syrup, and it was one of the best iced coffees I’ve ever had! I can never drink a full cup of coffee because of how sensitive I am to caffeine, but I couldn’t stop once I started because it was that good.
Workers were really friendly and helpful, interior was simple, but cute, and they also have a drive thru. Can’t wait to come back the next time I’m back in San Diego!

Better Buzz is making some tasty coffee drinks. Their locations around town are my favorite destination when I want my caffeine to be extraordinary.
I visit this location more than any of the others. I make regular airport trips and this is an easy stop when I am in the area. They only have a few parking spots but there has always been one open when I have wanted to stop. Drive-​through seems to be the preference of most of their customers but the interior is comfortable and well designed.
I have sampled from around their menu and almost everything is good. At the moment, I have been hooked by their Blackberry Banana Muffins which are frankly delicious. My go to coffee is their boldly named Best Drink Ever. It’s a vanilla something and goes great hot or iced.
Finally, the staff has always been great. They always seem cheerful, helpful and authentic. A great recipe when it comes to first class customer service.

I was grabbing pizza next door and while I was waiting I noticed this cute little coffee shop. Not only is it super cute but it has a lot of personality when you walk in the door! It’s a perfect spot to hangout, either by yourself or to meet with a friend. So much better than Starbucks in my opinion, even their chai tea latte tastes a lot better
I wish they had a location down in Orange County! At least now I know of a great coffee shop every time I head down to SD.
