Went there today to cash in & get some lottery tickets but got ripped off. We had $ 6 in winnings and tried to get that in tickets, but instead she gave us $ 4 in tickets and said that’s what the machine gave her and there was nothing else she could do. They basically pocketed $ 2 that they should have given us since they didn’t give us the tickets. I won’t come back here again.

I wanted to pick up some jumbo wings and yams like the ones he serves next door but I was a little turned off by the gloominess of the store. I guess I just wasn’t expecting it. The meat counter also left a lot to be desired. A lot. I mean, I know we’re not in a fancy area but you’re running a restaurant next door and trying to attract customers from all around, I’d think. IJS, I’d present my product a little differently, that’s all. I saw a few flies and meat that was dark around the edges and it wasn’t late in the day at all. Ok, I’m done.
So I did end up getting some good size wings that were pre-​packaged but forgot to look for the yams. Found some fat smoothie straws which came in handy so that’s a bonus!
I may return for those yams because Danny was bragging about them but I’ll adjust my expectations about the store and stop being so uppity! ;-))

This place is something else. It looks sketchy and its on a not so nice side of town but it’s close to home and it’s cheap and mostly good. I’ve bought meat from the butcher there and it was good I just made sure to take a good look at the color and condition of the meat. Beer is always a great price and its cold and has a good birthdate. I don’t necessarily shop for anything else other than those two things here but as far as I can see the rest of the stuff here is good. Not too much parking but there isn’t very many people around here so it’s never full.

Wow! Stevie, Bobbie and the boys have done a great job installing the BBQ Smoker, grill, Deep Fryer, and Pizza Ovens in what was the Encanto Post Office (92 114). I grew up here as kid and known all the owners of the market and what the boys have accomplished is tremendous; food is great, service, price they know how to take care of customers. Looking for good reasonable priced food this is the place !!

Came in the other day to find out when their pizza/​BBQ place was going to be finished. This place always has great deals on vegetables and fruit along with a great carneceria.

They have packaged deals on meats get a whole Bar BQ of meats for a nice price. It’s own by a real nice family I remember when it was smaller but still worth it for the meats. I come here a lot because it’s walking distance and sometimes a good walk is worth it.
