I think her name is Joya, but she has done my hair the last 3 times and she is awesome. She is professional and has never tried to swindle me into buying a bunch of products. She is straight forward and honest about what is good for my hair. I always leave the salon feeling fabulous. I plan on coming back regularly.

I took my mom in for mani/pedi’s while she was visiting & I also had a blow out. All the ladies were great — my hair looked very nice and the curls held for three days (falling some of course, but still there). The nail ladies took their time and made sure our nails and toes were perfect before we left. I will definitely be returning :-). Great job!

I trust Blo to tame this mane for weddings, graduation, and the occasional date. Oh, and you can’t beat $ 30 blowouts on Mondays and Tuesdays. Wouldn’t know what to do without this place!

I loved how convenient the location and how quick the service I got. I had a wedding to attend in 4 hours and needed to find a place to style my hair and get manicure. Blo was there to accommodate my needs within those few hours. Luckily I received the service I needed. What a fun place! In town for a bachelorette party and this was an awesome way to start my day. Staff was very friendly and my hair looked amazing after. Carissa was a total pro and very fun to work with. Definitely worth the price when you want to treat yourself!

I was in San Diego for a week attending a conference, also had to do some media work for my group. Lucky for me they were able to work me into their schedule with a day’s notice. Their customer service is excellent. They serve you your beverage of choice– which was an excellent cup of coffee for me, even put your phone up for charging and give you some samples for checking in. The blowout itself was excellent, the stylists will try to understand your preference and give you exactly what you want. My hair looked great all week. Will definitely head back here when I visit San Diego again.

I had a 10 am flight needed a wash and blo out before taking off, I scheduled a 7 am Blo Out online… SO CONVENIENT!
First if all, Amazing Job by Siera! I initially thought that a good classic blo out would be just fine, since I will be flying 15+ hours on a plane. My mind set was, if I got curls. they would just tangle because I would probably sleep during that 15+ hours on a plane.
We tried the Classic Blo out. I was expecting «Adele like hair but unfortunately it didn’t work out as I imagined. Siera took control and suggested we do a bit of curls in the ends. I gave her my full trust and the results was Amazing!
My hair did not tangle, the Unite product she put on me was so lightweight that my hair still had volume and looked new 17 hours later.
I will most definitely go here again! Highly recommended for all my Girlfriends

I was in town for a wedding and needed a last minute updo. The girls at the front desk were so nice and found a way to fit me in to the schedule. David did my updo and he did it perfectly! I couldn’t have asked for better. I highly recommend this place!

They were able to squeeze me in – which is awesome – for a mani and pedi. The colors are limited. The non gel polish is a brand I haven’t heard of. For gels they use gel-​ish – which I haven’t used before.
The service is lovely. My manicurist was super thorough and nice. Great foot massage. The gel polish did weird things on my nails even while being done – she tried to fix it but it created weird ridges and bumps.
I wish they had more color selection and for how much I paid I wish my service lasted a bit longer!

I have never gotten been to a blow out before, so I was actually really excited to book an appointment at this place. I didn’t want to get my hair styled or anything, just a blow out with some volume at the back roots of my hair. We were greeted by the receptionist and offered water, tea, or champagne — love love love. The facility was super clean, bright, and sleek; which was wonderful as well.
I believe my stylist was Joya (if I remember seeing her license correctly at the station I was seated at). She was super sweet and very focused on my hair. She made sure to ask me exactly how I wanted my hair — where I wanted to part it, if I wanted product in it, etc. I really liked the purple shampoo she used to wash my hair. I believe it was United brand. After blowing out my hair, my hair looked really toned and ashy. She scrubbed my hair so well, I was about to fall asleep in my chair. The washing part was what I was looking forward too because it’s so relaxing and she did a fabulous job. I would definitely come back if I am in the area. The blow out was $ 40 before tip.

In SanDiego for the week and looking for a way to pamper myself, I found Blo on Groupon and I’m so happy I did! I got a Mani and blow out for only $ 45.
Margarita did my nails and I absolutely love them and she was super sweet. She even recommended some sights to see while I was in the area. David did my blow out and he was really gentle but gave me incredible va-​va-​voom! Thanks Blo, I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

A blowout is such a satisfying luxury, one that I treated myself to for my wedding. I wanted simple, beach waves, nothing too fancy. I’ve had poor experiences with any kind of fancy updos in the past. There was a Groupon for a blowout and manicure and it turned out to be a perfect way to try out this salon.
Scheduling was simple and when I had a question regarding the Groupon, I received a friendly response from the salon immediately. We scored with parking right out front. Be prepared to pay street parking or park for free down at Horton Plaza with 3 hours validation. They offered us champagne, coffee or water upon arrival, which I wanted to indulge in, but since we had just come from brunch, I declined.
The blowout was fantastic followed by the manicure with a mini-​arm/​hand massage. I liked the nail color options and the final result of both. The salon has a chic, upscale feel combined with friendly service. Nice way to pamper yourself now and then.

They have nice choice of Morgan Taylor polishes. I am happy to have this great salon in the same block where I live. I’ll be back!

I purchased a groupon for a blow out and manicure. The groupon was a nice little deal. I had no problem scheduling an appointment and the staff were sweet. The salon is exactly what you’d expect: clean, contemporary, cool, sleek. Loved it. I worked with the stylist David. I loved my hair: great double shampoo and head massage with a perfect hairstyle for my needs (I had an event later and needed the curls to stick, so the stylist made it happen perfectly).
I had a manicure too. The manicurist was totally sweet and wonderful — very friendly. I think there could be a wider color selection, but they were nice and on trend.
The pedicure was absolutely stellar. The best one I’ve ever had. The same woman did my toes and she remembered me and was super sweet. I loved the products used to scrub and pamper my feet. Super happy with the experience.
I really liked this location and the people. You really can’t go wrong! And I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to be pampered a bit.

Great go to for the savvy traveler. Was able to have my toes and hair done, after calling 1 hour in advance, in less than 2 hours. Shop is gorgeous — great design, crisp colours and even shower caps for summer downpours! Had my favourite rose nail colour to match wedding this fall — has all colours for purchase! Convenient and service. I’ll be back.
4 stars out of 5, I booked the blow out with head massage but massage was left out. Did not charge me for it though!

I scheduled an appointment to freshen up pre-​party during Comic Con making sure to note that I preferred a vintage/​classic style. I arrived a few minutes early and was surprised to find a mostly empty salon, I was asked if I wanted anything to drink and requested champagne as it had been a long day of nerdiness. The salon is beautiful and the energy upbeat, perfect for getting prepped for a night out or any special occasion.
My stylist was sweet enough but I just don’t think my aesthetic fit with hers. After discussing a marilyn monroe inspired style with lots of body and curls/​sculpted waves but I left with loose beachy waves. Not bad, just not my thing.

I loooove this place. I seriously can’t wait to come back and get my hair done for my birthday next month. I think his name was David I forget but he did my hair for graduation and it turned out incredible. Everyone was giving me compliments. Everyone was so nice to me and since I was running late but needed my Makeup done and they didn’t have any appointments available they called other places for me to see if they had room. How nice! They offer coffee and water as well. Love it. Can’t wait to recommend this place and go back again for some braids

This place is gorgeous! I went in for a manicure by Melissa and I left feeling so WOW’d about this place. Décor was perfect, staff was friendly, and so many wonderful services to choose from! Manicures, pedicures, blow outs, waxing, & makeup application! This is definitely your one-​stop shop to beauty.
The only thing I would suggest is that they get OPI for polish. I have no clue who Morgan Taylor or whatever they had for polish is. It didn’t go on very smoothly and chipped the next day.
