Boudoir Ego Photography

Working with Anna Johnson and Boudoir Ego Photography was an absolute delight!
I think what I admire the most about the brains/​beauty behind Boudoir Ego is that she makes it her personal mission to help women embrace a side of themselves that they may feel insecure about. She battles the preconceived notions that we tend to place on ourselves and strives to show you a side of yourself that you may not have been willing to notice before. Anna’s is a mission of self-​acceptance and love.
The particular shoot that I attended had an onslaught of models and Boudoir Photography was well equipped to handle them all with several hairstylists and makeup artists at hand to enhance the natural beauty of a wide range of women in attendance. In addition to the professional styling suited to the features of each individual woman, Anna coached each one as to how to best pose themselves and even more importantly brought with her an air of vivacity and comfortability that made one feel at ease during the duration of the shoot.
The shoots came off effortlessly as she was able to immediately cut away any tension allowing for a more natural feel to the photos she took. Having worked with several other photographers, I can personally say that if there is even a modicum of reservation within the model as to how she is feeling during the shoot it will show 100% in the face and stiffness of her body; it can ruin an entire session. This is not the case with Anna! She makes shooting FUN and it shows itself in the final results.
The cherry on top was that after we had wrapped up shooting she brought out little gift bags for each of us containing lipgloss, a lacy thong and, of course, her contact information. So thoughtful! It provided a flawless finish to an already incredible experience.
