After being to Sambazon in Cardiff a few times I wanted to stop at a place close to home & they did not disappoint! I got the Peanut Butter bowl which is my personal favorite post work-out snack! The place is very clean with friendly, knowledgable staff, I will definitely be coming back!

Awesome acai bowls! Tucked away in the strip mall. The ambience is cool and the staff is welcoming. My first time here and I’m hooked on acai bowls.

I love this place! It’s such a cute store and they have all kinds of bowls and drinks from acai, to pitaya, to other fruits. I’ve tried the Popeye bowl and Sunset bowl. The sunset was a little on the sour side because of the pineapple and mangoes but it was still good. The Popeye bowl was pretty good and has veggies in it. They put granola on the top and bottom of all their bowls and different kinds of fruits on top. Highly recommended!

I searched for a place relatively close to me that had good Acai Bowls, and Bowl of heaven had the best reviews. So I gave it a shot and I’m glad I did! The place itself is a little hidden in the shopping plaza its in, but once you get in its nice. It’s very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. I ordered the Red Zinger(I believe it’s called), which can be a hit or miss if you’re not a fan of ginger, but it was marvelous! The regular size was also more than enough. I’ll definitely be going back to try more flavors.

This place is good however it’s a bit overpriced. One day I came in and got one of the most popular acai bowls. When I was halfway done with my bowl, I asked for small side of extra coconut shavings. The girl working provided good customer service and handed me a tiny cup of coconut flakes at no charge. I thanked her for the sweet gesture. I loved it so much that I came back the next day. I again asked for an extra side of coconut and was charged(I expected this because I was given a bit more coconut) I payed for this at the time I payed for my bowl and when I got my bowl I didn’t receive the extra side of coconut(50 cents) I asked if I could please have it, because I payed for it and the owner or manager was like«I’ll give it to you free this time, but next time it’s going to be 75 cents» and then walked away… 75 cents is over priced for a measly side of coconut shavings. If he’s going to hike up the prices that high and then his employees are charging me differently then they need to communicate on how they’re going to charge for sides and become more organized. I didn’t really like his attitude when he said that. I probably won’t return here.

It was my first time ever eating an acai bowl, and I definitely was not disappointed! Coming in the afternoon with my gf, I was pretty surprised to see this place pretty empty. Regardless, the workers were both extremely pleasant and helpful in figuring which bowl to order and we ended up ordering the regular size North Shore Original Bowl. 5 minutes later, the worker came out to personally hand it to us. The size was perfect for the both of us to share and I loved all the combinations of the flavors. I was a little weary about the honey on top making it overly sweet, but it was a perfect sweetness(take notes boba places). And I really enjoyed the texture combinations — the creaminess of the acai, the crunch of the granola/flax, etc. I was pretty glad we got the regular since it was more than enough to share between the two of us. Overall, a pleasant experience, and will definitely come back if in the area.

Ahhhhh! This place is perfect for a quick pick up for an acai bowl! The menus are pretty straight forward. I got a peanut butter acai bowl. Which has peanut butter, chocolate almond milk, banana, strawberry, and acai of course. And on top, was with bananas, honey, and granola. I substituted the granola with dark chocolate shavings. It was so yummy! The amount was so decent. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten full of an acai bowl, but this one did! I loved how the acai was thick and creamy. It wasn’t as runny as some acai bowls I had in the past. A medium was $ 7.50!(No tax) and it was seriously huge! It would be perfect for sharing with someone after the gym or a sunny day outing! :)

Came in and grabbed the North Shore traditional Acai bowl, really enjoyed it, and plan to come back! Next time though, I will probably grab more toppings for the bowl :). When picking an acai bowl, pay attention to the distinction between ingredients that are being blended in and ingredients being used as toppings. My only complaint would be that their menu is very difficult to read. They try to cram a lot on there and I couldn’t read most of the toppings.

The Red Zinger is phenomenal! The shaved Belgian chocolate balances the zing sour flavors from the mangoes, pineapples, lime, rasberries, and ginger. Plenty of tables and seating area for those who want to stay to eat. The place is clean, love the modern décor and furniture. Great friendly customer service, I got some great recommendations to try. Plenty of parking in the plaza! Bowl of Heaven is a great addition for Mira Mesa, definitely coming back to try other flavors and smoothies — woohoo Summer’s coming and bowls and smoothies here will be a nice treat on a warm/hot day.

I think this might be my new favorite spot. I’m ashamed that I’ve had my eyes on this place for a while but never got the chance to try it until now. While the place is tucked into the corner of a plaza, it’s easy to find parking. The inside is very clean, fresh, and modern. There are bar seating, a few small tables, and a little bit of outdoor seating. The décor is super cute as there are little succulent plants to complement the place. I ordered the regular lime a licious Acai bowl. Total came out to $ 7.99 which is a pretty good price for the amount of food they give you! From the first bite to the last, the texture was super smooth and thick! Not watery like some places. I could really taste the freshness. I love that there are a few outlets because I bring my laptop everywhere to do work. This is a good alternative from sitting in a coffee shop. I’ll be back soon to try other things out!

Pretty good acai! The Seasider has a nice balance of sweet and tart. The acai blend itself is smooth and thick. The fruit toppings are fresh and drizzled with honey. The flax + hemp granola adds the perfect crunch to the acai. The North Shore Original has a stronger acai flavor so if you’re a fan of acai like me, stick to the original.

I like that they have the option to add whey protein as a boost! You can choose 11 or 22 grams and different flavors but I got the chocolate into the Peanut Butter Acai bowl. It started to not taste like an acai bowl anymore but more like a PB and chocolate smoothie but it wasn’t a bad taste! The texture is consistent each time I’ve visited so PLUS! Service is always nice, smooth and quick.

Heard about this acai bowl /smoothie place in Mira Mesa and definitely had to check it out. Located in one of the many shopping centers along Mira Mesa Blvd.(near Bevmo, Green Flash area) this place was sort of hard to find because it was kind of tucked away in the corner of the center. Had the peanut butter acai bowl(regular size, which is actually pretty filling. The large was… huge haha). And honestly, it was aite?! Just aite. Fresh fruits, granola was good, and you can definitely taste the peanut butter mixed in the acai blend, but it wasn’t all that bomb as I thought it would be. Don’t get me wrong though, it’s still a pretty good bowl! I hoped the acai was slightly sweeter because at times, it tasted pretty bland to me. I was kinda over it after I finished all the fruits haha. Overall, good bowl, but deserves a mid 3. I’d still come back here to try the different bowls and smoothies. Not sure if this place is relatively new or has been here for a while, but I’m glad more shops like these are opening up!

I understand why this place is called Bowl of Heaven. Their acai bowls taste like they’ve been blessed. The mix is smooth but thick at the same time, and you’ll never have to worry about it being too icy or watery. Their portions are generous, and I believe they only serve regular and large sizes. Also don’t hesitate to ask the workers for recommendations; they’re friendly and helpful, so you’re guaranteed to leave with a bowl of heaven! The smoothies are okay in my opinion. They also come in regular and large sizes, and my regular came out to $ 5.50. I ordered the sunset blast, and it was good(love the hint of coconut) but not amazing. The regular size is the same size of your regular milk tea at a boba place. If you want to get your money’s worth for smoothies, I’d drive down the street to Robek’s! Still, this place is awesome. Lots of seating inside, clean, friendly workers, and they offer rewards cards. I will be back!

I loved my bowl of heaven! I have to admit, it is a bit«different» than most traditional health/smoothie/juice bars but it’s not a bad thing once you learn the reason why. You can find their menu on their website: «Rolled Up» here at 8 am sharp, and the gal and the gentleman working was as pleasant as ever. The little gem is modern, bright white with a woodsy modern theme. Menus are on the TVs and on a menu brochure by the register. Fresh fruits, veggies fill the air. Their commerical juicers arn’t a joke — these things cost thousands to have. but that means you’ll get the very best squeeze. Besides Acai bowls and smoothies, they also sell health food snacks and drinks. My favorite little snack is BARNANA, its a green little bag and though on the«pricier» side, its a snack that tastes so good and isn’t real bad that I don’t feel guilty about. Pick one up! Story has it that one of the owners in the North Shore of Oahu was addicted to acai bowls, so he started his own gem. You’ll notice the acai bowls have sweet names, and the Original one which I got to try is called the«North Shore Original.» This came with the following toppings: Organic Açaí, Strawberries, Bananas, Blueberries, 100% Apple Juice &MAQ7. Toppings included: Topped with Organic Hemp Flax Seed Granola, Fresh Banana, and Honey The hemp flax seed granola was my first time here, and took a bit to get used to it, as I was used to the typical granola. Knowing that this was an even more healthier version was amazing. The Acai itself(which was mixed with strawberries, banana, blueberry and apple juice and MAQ7) was amazing. I enjoyed how THICK, yet tasty it was. I took it to go, and by the time I got to my desk at work 20 minutes later, it was still nice and thick. I also enjoyed that they added MAQ7 — which is another difference yet benefit here. What is MAQ7? It is made from the Maqui superfruit grown in Chile. I’ll let them explain here:
I also enjoyed the Green Glory Juice: Kale, Spinach, Lemon, Cucumber, Celery, Parsley, Apple. This was juiced fresh right in front of my eyes. SOOOOGOOD! What is even more awesome? $ 1OFF every Unilocal Check-In! Thanks guys!

Finally happy to see a smoothie/acai bowl place in Mira Mesa! Stopped by here for a quick a quick snack and it blew me away! Love this place because their bowls and smoothies are thick so they don’t melt on you right away. I drove ~10 minutes and it was still fresh! I tried the Popey Blast Smoothie and got a North Shore Bowl for a friend. Their bowls also aren’t overly sweet which is much appreciated! Often times you get bowls covered in honey, but not here! The prices are very reasonable and the wait is never too long. Be sure to sign up for the rewards program! $ 8 off for every $ 80 you spend!

Ordered the red zinger. It was a little sour for my liking. It also had a lot of granola and way too much chocolate shavings on top which some people may like but I was planning on eating something healthy. Service is kind of slow, but they offered samples of one of their juices while I waited. Would probably just get the original acai bowl next time.

I did not have a bowl of heaven, perhaps next time, but I did have one wonderful Peanut Butter Blast smoothie I enjoyed. The mixture of Organic Açaí, Bananas, Strawberries, Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Almond expertly blended to a smooth and thick concoction was bliss. The peanut butter flavor was mild but very good, which went very well with the bananas and strawberries. The Açaí flavor was minimal but added nice color to the smoothie, not to mention the health benefit. I would like to see a stronger presence to the chocolate and almonds, especially the almond. in the end, it was a terrific smoothie and I was most impressed with its very smooth texture which made it easy to slurp down with their extra wide straws. I will definitely try a bowl next time. I was served by two young ladies. Stephanie was very knowledgeable and helpful, not to mention friendly a great face to see at the front of the store. Well done ladies, and a shout out to the other girl who made my smoothie!
